Dear Seniors,

I have received an email from LVO to submit the passport copies and fill the updated information chart.

I have just renewed my passports and haven't updated LVO about it yet.

Do I just fill the details of the new passport in the updated information chart and sent the copies of the same? or do i first have to update them about the new passports.

An early response will be really helpful as they haven't given me much time to get back.

1- immigrant visa once issued ; its valid for how many months?
2- if one is already in Canada after clearing the medical on visit visa .can he/she still can get immigrant visa there while in Canada ?
3- if medical is cleared but spouse goes out to country of work can he/she give his passport to stamped for immigr-visa stamped at country of work?

1- immigrant visa once issued ; its valid for how many months? - 12 months from the date of Medicals

2- if one is already in Canada after clearing the medical on visit visa .can he/she still can get immigrant visa there while in Canada ? - I am not sure , but one has to send passports to his assigned Visa office , how ever if you are in Canada , and need to send these to London , I believe this will not be an issues , but one has to exit from Canada , and enter on his Immigrant Visa and get COPR stamped


3- if medical is cleared but spouse goes out to country of work can he/she give his passport to stamped for immigr-visa stamped at country of work? - LVO has accommodated many on this , request them when time comes , they will accommodate you on this

DEAR EXPERTS now that our medical is sent i hv a new Qs.

1- for how long they keep the PP for immi-visa stamp?
2- what if one has to travel -on work permit and have limited time for PP to be stamped forimmi-visa??

Sir, how you come to know that your medicals are cleared. i am asking as i also have appeared for medicals this month.

well i asked the doctor who examined and sent plus if u r clear they will not contact u but if there is some problem in medicals they will call u and will give u further instruction.
