Thanks to almighty Allah, I got the medical request today. They also requested to submit me "Right of Permanent Residence Fees".

There is no RPRF for child. Right?

I have some questions:

I am currently doing a PhD in Italy. My family is in Pakistan. My wife and kid have submitted passports to the Italian embassy for the visa 2 weeks. I have checked that passport is not needed at the time of medical. Is it right?

if anybody have experience of having medical from Lahore, kindly share your experience with me.

FRC/Birth certificate of the child is also submitted to the Italian embassy for the visa processing.

here is the extract from IOM email:

1. Valid Original passports of all members along with 2 photocopies of first two pages of each passport.
(If original passport is with CIC, please bring original CNIC (for adults) and FRC family relationship Certificate issued by NADRA (for children) along with two photo copies of passport.

Thanks. My wife has its ID Card.

I think I should wait. Its been 2 weeks, passport and FRC is in Italian embassy. We have 60 days limits. I hope my wife and kid would get that before that OR should I inform CHC about the situation.

Hi All,
Rang the IOM karachi on the phone number given at CIC web site to make the appointment for Medical the earliest available date given is 7 August.

My question is they did not give me any appointment or reference number etc. Just told me come on at 7 August and hung the phone which really surprised me what a rude attitude; neither are they bother to provide any information regarding what documents We need to bring with us.
Now I am bit worried because when I read the forum it looks like every one is making medical bookings with IOM via email, should I send them an email to? Does any one here share info regarding IOM karachi.

My second question is whats happen after the medical do they send the medical report directly to the CHC London them self or hand it over to us for a mail? If they hand it over to us will they give it to us the same day.

how much is the fees for Medical.

don't inform CHC at this stage.... I will suggest you to book an appointment after 1 month ... hope fully you will get your documents by that time ....

1) They guide each and every thing over the phone... i think your phone got DC .....

2) They upload results via e-medical system... with in couple of days you can confirm your result over the phone....
