Thoz who got 6-12 months wait letter

I received the medical form today by email.

I have been in Italy for the last 6 months. I have changed my address too. The form has the new Italian address.

My wife and kid is in Pakistan. Their forms also have the same address. They would do their medical from Pakistan. I hope address would not create any issue. Right?

1) They guide each and every thing over the phone... i think your phone got DC .....

2) They upload results via e-medical system... with in couple of days you can confirm your result over the phone....

3) its around 6700 per adult...

I will call them again tommorrow and ask every thing; I am giving 45 days by CHC to submit Medical and RPRF fees which are going to end on 15th of August and IOM gave me 7th of August for Medical test; I believel they will upload the results by 15th of August; or will it be ok even they delays uploading the result as long as we done the medicals with in given 45 days.

right now they are taking around 15 days.....

I rang today for an appointment and they gave me 7 th of August for Medical test so it is almost after two weeks.

Do they have Govt: employee written on their passports? - YES

I do not think their is a requirement from CHC to inform them of your Job change.
do we need to tell them every time we changes the Job? - YES , you cannot apply your thinking , its clearly stated on all forms , and cic web page that it is responsibility of any applicant to inform CIC / Visa Office about every MATERIAL change, immediately without any delays , other wise it is counted as mis-declaration and hiding facts - Immigration case of Ali Sukhera , SP Model Town Lahore was bounced due to this , as he has never informed CIC about his Police joining????

Since my application I have personally changed 4 jobs and never bother to tell them specifically; unless they ask for updated forms. - No comments , if they have ignored you

Thanks to almighty Allah, I got the medical request today. They also requested to submit me "Right of Permanent Residence Fees".

There is no RPRF for child. Right? - YES

I have some questions:

I am currently doing a PhD in Italy. My family is in Pakistan. My wife and kid have submitted passports to the Italian embassy for the visa 2 weeks. I have checked that passport is not needed at the time of medical. Is it right? - YES , photocopies will work , along with Passport submission proof at Italian Embassy through fedex

Thanks. My wife has its ID Card.

FRC/Birth certificate of the child is also submitted to the Italian embassy for the visa processing.

Get a fresh copy of FRC , NADRA will issue this with in no time. You need to provide them copy of the previous one

Hi All,
Rang the IOM karachi on the phone number given at CIC web site to make the appointment for Medical the earliest available date given is 7 August.

My question is they did not give me any appointment or reference number etc. Just told me come on at 7 August and hung the phone which really surprised me what a rude attitude; neither are they bother to provide any information regarding what documents We need to bring with us. - Its normal

Now I am bit worried because when I read the forum it looks like every one is making medical bookings with IOM via email, should I send them an email to? Does any one here share info regarding IOM karachi.- It happened with me too , no issues

My second question is whats happen after the medical do they send the medical report directly to the CHC London them self or hand it over to us for a mail? If they hand it over to us will they give it to us the same day.- Will submitt this to CIC directly

how much is the fees for Medical.- Rs.6250 per adult

When I got email few months back about the updated forms, following was written about what to inform:

However, please do advise us if there is a change in your personal circumstances, such as the birth of a child, a marriage or divorce. You must let us know at the address above or by email at ldn-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca. You must also inform us of a:


● Change of address, including change of e-mail address;

● Change of immigration representative. You must include a completed and signed Use of a Representative form (IMM5476E). You can find the form at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5476E.pdf)

● Request for withdrawal of your application.


P.S. I also know one case, where one person did not inform about change of job and he refused. He was also a police man.
