Those who are going to Alberta please advise how necessary is to get you credential /degrees assesses through IQAS (International Qualification Assessment Service) http://employment.alberta.ca/immigration/4512.html
Please advise what the requirements of the service are. What is the procedure? Do they require sending original docs to HEC?
Is it worth to spend money on this?
Experienced person please advice.

Hi, nadiaa, If you already got your visa/copr then i suggest that you do not need degrees assessed. Once you land as PR and need (for any job reason) then any of the Services Ontario or its agency would help you to get it done thru many local universities plus they will pay the assessment fee too.

Guys I want to blast this breaking news that by the grace of almighty Allah just now I received most awaited MEdical Request.....RPRF and Proof of liquid fund
Regarding POF they mentioned liquid fund 20654 Canadian dollar shall I send 6 month statement or just a letter stated balance which I sent during early application to Nova Scotia....?

Visa officers are very reasonable , I believe they will finalize your case (ie Visa issuance) etc by May 2014.

Dear Nadia

Drop email to IQAS , and ask them requirements of sealed Envelop of attested certificated / degrees from Pakistan. If they require , get this sealed envelope from IBCCand HEC , carry this personally , and apply when you get PR.

I think traffic block mein phunsa hua hai so abhi time lagay ga...

I just pray it comes, whenever, but within THIS medical. Since a few people I know, now have expired medicals.....so it ain't done till u get visa/or atleast ppr....kher. Let's see. Allah behter kare. Will call u n cock n bull whenever there s any update. Was good talkin to u the other day...tc ma man. Cheers
