I had ordered CAIPS 2 on 30 Mar 2013 through lawpoint. Today I got 11 pages of CAIPS. Nothing special to mention though.
I am still waiting to receive mt medical forms which they said they sent me on 12 Apr 2013.
I pray all of us get visas soon.

mabrook could you share the exact wording about medical was it sent or issued.
mine was issued on 21/2/2012 and so far got nothing.
but sent mean they have mailed it good luck

they have emailed me medical form. total two pages and no timelimit to submit. one page for instruction and one for medical form

I had sent them CSI a week ago to which they replied that they were sending medicals on that day. They are probably on the way. So I am waiitng for that.
Also for Riyadh-based applicants, International Exhibition for Higher Education is taking place in Riyadh where more than 400 universities are represented. Canadian Embassy in Riyadh would also be there, so this is your chance to talk to them if you have any questions.

It depends on visa officer. Sometimes they do it before meds and sometimes after. How about CRIM, it should be 1 if u have submitted PCCs

ISLAMABAD – Islamabad High Court on Wednesday issued a stay order over a billion rupees contract with a US company for the purchase of passport lamination papers.

Islamabad High Court's Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui heard the petition of a French company pertaining to passport contract issue on Tuesday.

It was mentioned in the petition that Pakistan's Interior Ministry had published an advertisement regarding purchase of lamination papers and companies from United Satates and France had submitted their bids.

Later, it was decided that samples of lamination papers will be forwarded to the US and Canadian laboratories for quality check, following which the financial deals were supposed to be reviewed.

The French company stated that it obtained 940 points out of 1000 but Interior Secretary Siddiq Akbar and DG Immigration Maqbool Gondal did not acknowledge it over the results.

Under the agreement, technical bids were scheduled to open first, however, officials of the interior ministry e-mailed the company that financial bid was scheduled for March 24.

Afterwards, the contract was awarded to the US company.

Advocate Salman Akram Raja, counsel for the French company, prayed to court to cancel the contract and order the ministry to re-initiate the bidding process.

On this, the court issued a stay order over the contract and summoned the respondents in the next hearing.

On the other hand, Dunya News obtained the copy of FIA's inquiry report.

Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in its report blamed the Interior Ministry for delay in the passport issuance.

The ministry created artificial shortage of the lamination papers, the report revealed.

Hi ,

I am citizen of India residing in the UAE. I received a 6 to 12 months wait letter on the 26th of March 2012. 12 months are over an I still havent received any communication from LVO. I had applied in Feb 2010 , received the 1st AOR on the 7th of May 2010 and received the 2nd AOR on the 10th of October 2010.

I have sent a case specific inquiry today. Do you think they will send me any reply at all in the next 28 days?

Normally PVO has 60 days time but you set the target of 30 days to complete all MR&UDR

I am one of those 14..

I have not received anything from the LVO after the 6-12 month letter. I have sent a Case Specific Inquiry 2 days ago and will update here if I know something from them.
