Hi Jamy, this is really bad. Now that we are expecting our mr any moment, they are sending such jaz. Was there any addition in your family? What updated docs they want now? Please share. Thanks in advance for sharing.

Hi natashe the only update I sent LVO is before 10-15 days asking them to update my file as I renewd my Passport and that's it.

Hmmmm....decision is not final till PPR2....

So u sent full docs on 30 Nov 2010.....that means updates have started....

So, finally we know now...that the 18 month part is correct...!!!! Hmmmm....Well.....atleast updates have started for rest of the waiters....and its still LVO ....don't know wat else to say.....

In my CAIPS note I requested 2 times it was mentioned to ask for updated forms and PCC but they didn't bask for PCC and just updated forms. May b they ask again In the middle of 18 month

I know bro...I'm badly stuck too and very stressed and wanted to leave asap...... but kya karein,...no option...these morons r being VERY unfair to waiters.... chalo..Allah behter kare. Bus yahee dua hai...

Does it effect the case if somebody quit the job on which one has applied or start his own business or go to some other country in the meanwhile

Thanks for replying. Another 4131 applicant who applied in apr 2010 got his mr today,dont know why this discrimination? Can it be because of the request to update passport info. Doesnt seem to be.

I was in Dubai yesterday and saw lot of updates about news of 18 months...
Nothing to worry about and we must believe if few people of our list get this kind of email and this kind of time could be 18 months in total instead of 12 months in past. May be we need to have official letter / email here on this forum from minimum 3 people to believe because if does not make sense to ask for updated docs and wait for 18 months....so insha Allah Most of us will have good news in year 2013 itself but do not worry as Jimmy has already explained this in details.
Think in general kits hamari koi dushmani hai Canada say Jo hum ko further Latka diya jaye for another 18 months my opinion this is not possible but we will come to know about reality in next few weeks or max by Apr/May 2013

Yes it make sense just wait until other members also receive updated form request with 18 month Medal and then we may conclude. Filial I am also not in hurry and will send HRM requested documents after 45 or 50 days.

What I am thinking that if GCMS says send request for updated documents "then" MR those applicants will receive request for updated documents and if it says "request for updated forms and MR" then they will get both requests in one go

I'm not sure...but Wat I've always read on forum is that "it does not make a difference"...

So TECHNICALLY, u CAN change job/country.....

P.s: However , if I were u, I'd stick with the same job....can't explain the reason, but I don't want to take even 1 percent chance now...since I don't know what their criterias of processing r now...so I ll stick with mine (even though I'm hating it now due to office politics/low pay/over work/rude boss...plus its very difficult noways to find another job, I ve been trying but no jobs in the market)....but u can choose bro, as u know your circumstances more....also, take opinion from other seniors to confirm...

Is it good to send them the requested documents in 1 or 2 days or I can take proper time and send after 45 or 50 days? These are same documents whichnbsenbearlier and still saved in my laptop so I can send early. I am also ordering why they didn't ask me to send PCC mentioned in CAIPS? In between I changed my job s well so do I need to mention?

Dear Waitletter holders
Firstly,I would excuse in advance if some friend is hurt by my post.Secondly I would suggest to re-read the waitletter .It was clearly written there that no correspondence in next 12 months except three special reasons .But What we did ,Almost , a CSE on each weekend .Shooting CSE at each and every minor issue had been a habit of majority.Sometimes it was mentioned that some applicants recieved MR,PPR in response to CSE.While It might be a co-incident.
Dear fellows ,Inspite of 12 months limit almost 1/4 applicants have recieved MR in first 6 months and equally recieved updated documents .Thats a good going at LVO end .In MR letter it is mentioned that give office 4 months but we didn't followed it .We continuously sent CSE and wasted our time to delay processing and might be irritating the officer.
The bottomline is that LVO wants to clear backlog by keeping themselves away from the un-necessary CSE.Therefore I think 18 months issue is nothing just wait for your turn .MAY ALLALALMIGHTY BLESS US ALL WITH SUCCESS (Aameen)
