Hi folks,

I am a silent viewer (a 6-12 months wait letter holder) of this forum for quite some time. I yesterday got updated documents request via normal mail. My details are as follow:

Application filed: 26 October, 2009
1st AOR: 06 January, 2010
Full documents: 5th May, 2010
2nd AOR: 7th August, 2010
Date of Wait letter: 4th April
E-cas Status: in process since 26 March, 2012
NOC: 2145

No that was not the case jimmy but that's a vulnerable point for almost every middle class family man. they haven't asked for POF in the updated documents request. Probably they will send it with medicals. for your second query I haven't ordered any caips before. they have given me 30 days to submit all the updated documents. hope above explanation satisfy your queries.

Would really appreciate if u could answer these:

1- Did they ask for updated POF , since I know u opened your bank account one week before applying, and then later took out money from it too)
so my question is , have they asked for updated pOF ??

2. Did u order caips? If yes, are the required docs as per caips?

3. How many days have they given? 30 or 60 days?

dear arsh n all i have a question...

do we need to send proof of the updated documents like all certificates again,employment letter etc or just the updated document i mean the form that they asked for?????

The standard forms they have asked everyone is as follows:

• Updated IMM0008 Generic form
• Updated IMM5406 “Additional Family Information” form
• Schedule A Background/Declaration form (IMM5669) for all above 18 yrs of age
• Medical Forms (One form for each person in the family, sent with the CIC letter)
• Updated police certificates
• Fund evidence (not for all)
• 2 recent photographs of each family member
• IMM5562E-Travel form

The forms can be downloaded at : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/index.asp

Keep these forms/documents (except Medical, POF and PCC) ready as these will be asked anyways!!! PCC and POF preferably should be issued after a date from issue of document update request letter. No need to fill these forms in a hurry once you receive the request for updates, if you start preparing them now.

I left it blank.....the form let's validation even if this date is not being mentioned.........On the basis of assumption that it can be left blank if unknown.........

Hello friends,

Anyone please suggest what date to mention in "Expiry Date" Box for B-form of children in IM0008 form or should it be left unfilled with "N/A" remarks, as no expiry date is written on B-forms.
