Dear Waiters,

today i checked cic website and and now a new line "Medical results have been received" has appeared exactly 13 days after medical tests.

my question is:

does it mean our medicals (wife+me) are OK or it means they received it and will make judgement later? pls clarify if somebody knows about this issue, thanks in advance for input.
It means you passed the medical requirements
Now wait for PPR soon insha Allah...

Walaikum Assalam w.w.

It is hard to predict any next step from CIC and even these days Professional Najoomi's also can't guess the CIC processing times.... :)

Last 4 years were full of surprises from CIC, Like 6-12 months letter & then 18 months letter etc....some got visa and some are stuck at different stages...

As they say something and do something else and I think the reason behind this that they set a target but are not able to achieve it due to some limitations...
Like Staff strength, Strikes, Delay in response from other departments & last they converted many cases from CAIPS to GCMS...

I would say that everyone should apply for GCMS every 3-4 months until PPR is not received to see the real progress on case instead of depending on prediction
In this way we learn the reality about our cases and then we can discuss that with some seniors on this forum....

Always remember in your prayers...

To Apply GCMS, please see below links...

Consent Form for CAIPS/GCMS http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/form-imm5744.asp

Dear All..

I was out of this forum for some ground works as I am flying to Toronto inshallah next week for 3 weeks.

the question is, as I am going for short stay and will return after 3 weeks, do I need a travel permit as mandatory for the 2nd landing. as the PR card will be with my relatives there.

what if, I bring back the PR card by some 1 will be coming from there so I can do 2nd landing.

pls. seniors guide me.

You would need a travel permit / travel doc to travel back to Canada. I would suggest you to wait for PR card to come, someone can certainly bring it for you as temp permit may be a long process.

As per my information if you do not get a call in 24-48 hours after medical, then assume it's all clear. Appearing on ecas after fortnight is definitely a good & positive sign as to expect quicker ppr e;g, smsh.

No problem my friend. In my case, this line was never added and today its been two months since i have landed in Canada ;) . On the other hand, this line only means that they have recieved the results and they are not bound to tell you the results of the medical tests. Dont worry in this case also because nobody is refused on medical ground unless he or his/her dependents suffers from a disease which can spread from one person to another like tuberclosis, HIV etc or any illness because of which, the person could be a burden on the Canadian health system. Personally, i have never heard of any case rejected on medical grounds.
