Those who Waiting EXPRESS ENTRY in Six Months and not finalized!!!!

what number are you calling ? I don't even get to this wait time.

I am calling 1-888-242-2100.. then select PR, then they ask me to pick my catergory... "E" and then punch in my application number and date of birth. Then the machine reads me the info that I already know. I then hit 0 to talk to an agent and then recording says..."We are currently experiencing high call volumes .... you may hang up and call later"

Did you call? I called yesterday, one gentleman pick up the phone and he was so rude and never asked me for the application number, just told me to go in cic.acct to check statues, theres nothing he could provide me.

I got the email from Ottawa office:
Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times.
Unfortunately at this time we are not able to determine when your application will be finalized, but our office will contact you as soon as all verifications are completed.

My processing time is now 5+months, but does this message mean I'm going to wait with you here for undefined amount of time?

mine application is 6+month . but I never receive message like this before...

I called yesterday, and people pick up the phone didn't even asked me for the application number, and he said just go on cic account and check statues, theres nothing further he could provided...so rude. and I don't bother to call again...

Yes I was finally able to talk to an agent. She basically told me that my security check was still in progress and wait until the end of this month to hear anything (didn't seem like a convincing reply - just a polite way of saying that I don't have an update for you)

Guys my security check is finally completed last week on Thursday but last medical is left so officer is reviewing my previous medical results and they are discussing to give me extension as my medical was expired on May this year.
I hope they will give me extension as I am already in Canada.

This is like an auto reply (even though it is not) I received it and many members received it before, it doesn't mean anything but (please stop emailing us)

I Called them again, and they told me i already got my ppr on feb...i was like omg...i didnt know.
because the cic account was regiestered by my previous lawer, but i got terminated with her. so i got my account back, and changed the email address. but the ppr email send it to the orginal email which resigered the cic account. and my cic account didnt update anything.
and i waited for 6 month and notify me i already ppr 4 month ago..
what a shock. and i asked them to resend my ppr email...so guys...if you pass 6month, i would recommand everybody to call and check

It means nothing. just a generic reply. I got that too when I sent an email just before I reached six months.

kk1988, So happy to hear it for you , its been really unfortunate and unprofessional of CIC, the last 4 months you just have to suffer just bcs of their stupidity.
But anyways CONGRATULATIONS !! Finally you got it .

BTW, once you receive the email from CIC , would be please share the format i would like to ask my EX-Lawyer as well .
