And I will enter into my 9th month after AOR on 12 June, still not received any mail from CIC. How come? This is like an auto reply (even though it is not) I received it and many members received it before, it doesn't mean anything but (please stop emailing us)
But you have a long wait, right? So probably they send this email to those who is going to wait longIt means nothing. just a generic reply. I got that too when I sent an email just before I reached six months.

Do you have extensive travel history, governmental or military background? And what is the country of your origin?Hi guys,
It's been 6 months and 10 days for me since AOR.
I called CIC last week and they told me that my application is undergoing security check and asked me to check back at the end of the month.
Some folks have advised me to raise a CSE.
Do you guys recommend doing that and if yes then what should i precisely ask them?
No I don't have any travel history in past 10 years. Only travel was when I came to Canada as a student and then went back once to visit my parents.Do you have extensive travel history, governmental or military background? And what is the country of your origin?
I don't fall into any of these categories I have been living in Canada for almost 4 years now.Well, what I see in common between most of us 'security screening' folks is nationality of or travel to Islamic or Middle eastern countries, beside possible military background. However some of us have absolutely none of that which makes the whole thing seem so random.
