Is your medical expired ..why it is in process ? Did you order gcms notes recently ?

No, our medical exams were done about 1-2 weeks before submitting the application, so they are still ok. We uploaded the papers with all the information that was given us by the clinic.
I am ordering gcms notes right now. I have to order them under the Privacy Act, right?

Yes go ahead and get details. By d way delay seems luck for me. I ordered gcms notes 50 days back and haven't received yet even after 2-3 follow-ups

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum and am steadily approaching the 6 month mark.

I applied on 31 May 2016 and am currently sitting with:

Application/profile status -Open
Review of eligibility - Review in Progress
Review of medical results - Passed

It seems unlikely that the remaining items on my profile will be completed. Once you passed 6 months, does emailing or notifying CIC assist in any way or do we just have to go through the motions of waiting it out?

You can call to find the current status, that's about it.

Can we go in and out of Canada with Valid BWOP and multiple entry Visitor Visa? If yes then i hope while coming back one can enter as worker rather visitor.

Yes.

I believe your concept of entry "as a worker vs visitor" needs improvement.

You are not admitted as any thing.

You always need a TRV or a PR card / PR travel document / canadian passport for entry.

Yes the TRVs have multiple types, i.e. immigrant TRV, visitor trv, student trv, worker trv. But that only defines the basis upon which your TRV was issued and decides the length of your stay.

Even that only happens when you are entering for the first time say when you are getting work permit issued.

Any subsequent trips while carrying a work visa + multiple entry TRV (provided both are valid) just count as entry stamps, with no further processing needed

Thanks for your reply. So this means one can go and come back on BOWP with valid multiple entry visitor visa and can work as worker after re-entry
