You shouldn't be disheartened. I think it's CIC's way of telling you to stop calling since there is not much info available to them anyway. Maybe you can order GCMS notes, there have been a lot of instances where its helped the application to move along.

Then what about a cic agent told you that you will hear something by end of march then nothing happened ... Dont know what to believe anymore

Yes, we have applied for GCMS note and should get it in next couple of weeks if they still adhere to their 30days timeline.

I belong to this thread as well. :/ AOR October 11, 2015.

I hope IRCC comes up with a certain specific strategic plan or a special task force committee to tackle applications which have already exceeded the normal processing times and issues final decisions ASAP.

Don't panic, applicant over 14 months still here waiting.
So, if you surprise your application pass six months mark and feel like hell.
Think of me, life needs to move on and there's someone waiting way much longer than
your case.

That's really strange, especially with Express Entry. Any specific reason for such a delay? Something you noticed from your GCMS notes or informed by the IRCC? They just told you to wait or there is something beyond the control of both parties like some delayed or manual daunting security clearance(s), missing, lost or unclear documents or any other similar factors? Do you at least know or have you been informed/told why your application is taking so long? [just curious and concerned]

On the other hand, bravo for such positive energy and optimism. You're going to get it soon, best of luck!

14 months ... did you apply on a paper based application?

or was it express entry? why so long?

I think it is still at back ground check stage and they already extend my ME (cause me only valid for 1 year and it's already passed!)
I've ordered 4 or 5 notes already and didn't see anything really strange.
It would be awesome if there's anyone can tell me why it take so long, isn't?
Anyway, wish everyone got their copr fast.

Well, that really is strange, 1st draw, everything seems ok in GCMS notes and still waiting for a decision... what did call center agent tell you about the status of your application or the possible reason for the delay? If you haven't already, please call the IRCC call center and try to ask the agent politely what is causing your application to be delayed this much and how long you'll have to wait further.

Finally the wait is over ................and we got PPR

Thanks for all for help and support.

Just checked my CIC portal..all status remains same as before.

But i have my vacation coming up. I am going to my home country and will be back by May 23rd.
Can i reply to the PPR mail asking for extending the time for sending the passport.

Once again Thanking u all for helping me out through my PR journey.

miki0125, can you share your application details? Because, we share a similar timeline. We are two applicants, my wife and I, in our application and we are in FSW Inland category. I called CIC helpline yesterday and I was told to wait till December, 2016. The agent didn't disclose any information further like in what stage the application is at right now.

We have two applicants as well, I am the primary applicant, my husband applied as spouse. We are in FSW inland. Nobody touch my file between Dec and Feb, the officer started my application in early March, who is so irresponsible. I guess we have the same officer reviewing our application
