Hi Jitu,

Thank You for ur valuable input.Yes u r right my past work experience has been in kpos(back office) which is not relevant to the course what i have opted i.e IBM, but this includes subjects like supply chain mgmnt and logistics which pertains to my specialization of MBA because of which i have opted for this course IBM...I do have experience in logistics and SCM but only 6 months...I strongly want to pursue my career in this field,bt at the same time i also not want to restrict myself in fetching jobs only in this fields and that's the reason i have opted for IBM instead of a proper specialization in SCM(there are courses in humber and seneca which have specialization programs in SCM)...

I have heard from ppl that we can't be stringent and adamant in taking up jobs, even if it dsnt pertain to our domain one shud take it.

Hi Jitu / Fellow members

I will appreciate any type of help in following queries.

I am a Chartered Accountant from India having more than 6 years of experience.

I am planning to apply for General Catogery Student Visa for Jan 2013 at Centennial College of Applied Arts & Technology, Ontario for Accounting & Financing related Post-Diploma.

1. I have 6 years of gap in education. I want to know if this will reduce my chance to get student visa?

2. Is it mandatory to opt for Education Loan for Student visa? how much fund needed to apply for Student Visa for 1 year program with 14000 CAD? How much in form of Education loan? How much in other forms?

3. As I have to pay tuition fee in advance before applying / obtaining Student Visa, how long it will take to get refund from college in case of Visa rejection?

4. How many hours of work I can do while studying? How much I can earn while study (a ruff estimate)?

5. How much CAD sufficient to leave in Canada with family or two adults and one child?

6. How much time will take to get Visa?

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,
Kaushal

Hi Jitu and fellow members,

I would be rounding my 1 year program in management by December.I would like to know if i should go for another program which is a 2 years diploma for one semester by transferring credit from my current program and that would make it 2 years of study in order for me to get 2 or 3 years pgwp. Which province can i use my 1 year post graduate work permit if i don't go with the first option? Is Saskatchewan or Manitoba a good place to work with the one year work permit? Thanks.
