Regarding Indian he has not disclosed true info.

Further I have also had a word with destination BC He mentioned a forum member in processing with processing date who got a verification call last week.

The verification was quite thorough.

Except "INDIAN" i have not seen any case in this forum from past 1 year that an applicant is having IP with a processing date & then going to DM immediately.

At times people write partial Information regarding their ECAS status.

Even CIC site clearly indicates that

IN PROCESS
In Process Based on review of your complete application package, it has been determined that your application is eligible for processing.
Processing has begun.

IP with processing date means application is eligible, Although DM is the next stage & CIC can reject application at any stage but ...logically it should be MR.

After we provide Medicals & there is some problem then a Re-medical is issued. At this stage there is a possibility of Rejection or DM but not before that.

It is always better to verification done and get an approval rather than getting silent rejection

Not necessarily.Application getting into "IN PROCESS" stage does not imply that MR is to be issued,come what may.So long as the background check and physical vrification of docs is completed successfuly,MR canot be issued.

I am also of the same opinion as it is mentioned ure FILE WAS REVIEWED - so it means that there is not error in the application filed ..

"IN PROCESS" basically means that eligibility check is over,pending physical examination of docs submitted by the applicant and verification of their credentials. PRIOR to moving the file to "IN PROCESS " STAGE the determination is made whether THE APPLICANT meets the prerequisites for appliying under sws. This is what is enunciated in the CIC guidlines and the letter issued by VO WHICH advises the applicant hiS/her 2nd AOR.
Only after the background check nd verification is succesfully completed,MR is called for.There are cases where even personal interview of the applicant is also reqiuired.
Therefore,arrival of MR Stage shall depent upon the documents submitted.

what you are answering is one stage behind of what OMG is asking

NOW lets try to answer his question

Almost half the people on the are "InProcess" for N number of days so that holds no water in present circumstances

once an applicant gets a real processing date along with the real processing date ( The line you mentioned)

Its stands proven you have the required points,you are eligible and all is well with your application 85% of the battle is won,

at this stage who were not eligible were given DM status

Once the "Reviewed" Line shows up the authenticity of your attached docs is checked ,
At This stage if the attached documents are not self explanatory you will /can be interviewed,verified over Phone or be visited by a VO representative.


IF nothing is amiss here you may not get the verification

If you are confident of what you attached with the application and the Visa counselor is reading your docs in the same light as you did

your chances of rejection are bleak

hope that solves the issue for you

actually i had the notion that reviewal of application by vo constitute only the quantitative check of eligibility OF THE APPLICANT under a particular noc.Once the real time process starts with a specific date,the qualitative check comes into play.And its success culminates into MR.
Yes, u are absolutely right,if the docs are good enough to satisfy VO,even verification of employment and personal interview are waived off.
