Hi All,

How long does it take to received AOR(letter that says Passed eligibility) for apply BOWP? I need to apply my BOWP and i still did not receive that. Please try to help me.

Just got an update on CIC!

My timeline:
15 Feb - Created EE Profile
17 Apr - Got FSW ITA
23 Apr - Medical done
08 May - App Submitted
08 May - Received AOR
11 May - Credit card charged
26 May - Medical Exam Passed
26 May - Background check in progress

No changes on ECAS as yet:
We received your application for permanent residence on February 14, 2015.
We started processing your application on February 15, 2015.

That would make sense otherwise they won't be able to meet the 6 month landmark for the application that were submitted at the earliest!

But it seems not to be when you submitted, but when you got the ITA. I was about to say this comment was wrong, as we submitted our application May 7 and background check is in progress. But we got the ITA March 27, so in fact we do fit the pattern.

My work permit expires end of July, so why are there so many people hearing about their app within the same month? Can anyone advise me at all?

Background check in progress May 28? But that's 2 days from now, how's that possible?

Looking at the trends it appears CIC reviews applications based on ITA received date. From what I've gathered, majority of those who received ITA in March currently have their background checks in progress. I am yet to see any April ITA's background check in progress.

I got my ITA March 27th. nothings happened with mine yet.

My timeline is very strange. My Background check was in progress the day I submitted my files (May 7th) and nothing has changed very since. My status on May 7th is as below and has stayed the same: :'(

And I really need to know whether applicants whose BC is already is progress will also be asked to take an interview. Any idea guys?
