Nope...not something I do I guess... of course I don't have a dog and my cat does not eat treats and I would never put my foot near our chinchillas...hahaha we also have frogs and fish...so no I cannot say I have used my foot to point at something..LOL :P

You can be sure now I will be on the look out for it though... haha 8)

I think you mean you have found it to be true of the people you have come into contact with.

The world views Canadians as pretty friendly so if a few people disagree are you sure Canadians are the ones with the problems?

I would love to hear what part of it you think is "true" about the entire population? Amazing how people can look at that article and not see the major problem is the total hate that guy has for everybody and anything that isn't exactly like him.

I would love to hear from other people that live outside of Canada, because here in Thailand Canadians and Swedes are considered the nicest and easiest to get along with people that come on vacation. It is also that way in many many places around the world. The people considered the worst guests to Thailand? Americans and Germans are usually tied at the top of the least wanted list.. I won't get into all the reasons why.. but much like Toby said I could go through and pick that piece of fluff apart line by line but what would be the point, those that have already made up their minds or are too narrow minded to see beyond their own agenda would ignore it anyway.

There is one very simple solution, and sorry to be harsh but if anybody going to Canada really feels its such an unfriendly place and the people are so awful ummmmm GO HOME... seems pretty easy... you chose to come here for a reason and if it's not making you happy and you can say you've honestly done your best to understand and fit with CANADIAN culture then maybe you should move on... as you can't expect a whole country to change for YOU... would you do that in your country, well as you bailed to come to Canada I would say likely not..

Sorry to be so harsh but it's tiresome seeing people are taking this bitter rant in any way seriously

Yeah! You tell 'em. I often think the same, why bother moaning about it when you can go somewhere else??? It might take a while, but the world is a big place!!

Anybody who believes the crock in that so called "article" or what buddy was saying about the rude people in BC needs only spend a little time in Newfoundland. It's day and night from most of the rest of the country.
