Hi All,

I just wa t to let you k ow, that our SA is okay, it will take more time than yours. I've already been a PR back then, so they are looking after that which will take time I guess.. They are not sending it back. It would be fun to find out I am still a PR :))) which I am not for sure it was too many years ago. So I don't even know what are they doing now.

Can anybody give me an advice? How am I suppose to prove I am not a PR anymore?
I don't know what they are looking for. ???

Okay I just found out that I might easily get my PR back soon :D and there will be no need for the sponsorship procedure :D :D :D
I need to send some additional document and another form filled out and they will consider it. Please keep fingers crosses ;)

Well, after trying to find more information on how to call their offices from out of Canada, I finally conceded and sent them an email instead as soon as we hit the 30-day-wait mark.

I was surprised, but excited to see that they replied in under 24 hours! It was almost frightening to open the email and see the results, but... we received our SA yesterday (August 21st)!!! They just included it in the reply email, so I guess giving them a little nudge helped? I used the information/UCI code they included to check our status on the website, and it says there that they received the application on July 23rd, and that's it... I'm not sure if that would be considered the date for our AOR...

I have to say we're both so relieved, even though I know that everyone who has received the same news knows the feeling! This is wonderful news, and after the tense month of waiting, it's nice to have this cleared up before my birthday, too! Haha. I hope everyone else's AORs and SAs come just as smoothly so that we can all be just as relieved...

Oi, congrats!!!!!! ;) happy for you!

Gamyover, thank you very much :) I must make this step, I had no idea that getting my PR back would be possible,
but anyways. We have to do, what they told us to do, so... I am filling out the forms and submitting to CPC M.
It would be very nice from them to give it back, I think it was really unfair to take me back from CA , I had no chance. But they might think that I could've applied at the age of 18 when I was allowed to make my own decisions, which I didn't, so they might not like this.... But who the hell knew this is possible? I didn't. And I had no money to support myself so... and going on some kind of a welfare it is just not me. Never mind, I will send them what they asked me to, and they will let me know how they decided.

Hi Oi

May i know what email address you sent it to ?

Because I contacted CPC-M regarding a name issue and they did not get back to me. I sent infact 2 letters so far.. Also the fax. But no reply.

Please give me the email address

Bit worried

I am also curious to know what is their e-mail address> I attempted to call the MPC office today and after 10 min waiting on the line an agent simply said to me that it is too soon to ask on the status of my application. And I might need to check back again on mid of September! Clearly it was just another way of saying don’t call again!
Anyhow, I am a bit worried, because August applicants are already started receiving their AOR’s

Good luck Hungary. I hope you can get your PR status back without the sponsorship mess. Praying for you :)

Thanks to you!
But before applying I want to make a lot of phone calls, to see what is the better option for us.
I have a feeling this would just complicate everything which I don't want to. I might not ask for this PR thing, I want to ask for a confirmation from them saying that I lost PR a long time ago, so we can just go on with SpShip.
I need some more time to make my decision ???

Re: So happy

We got SA today!!!!! I'm more than happy, one step closer to be with hubby and such a relief. I'm going to be able to sleep good tonight, after a whole month thinking what would happen.

I hope strike is over soon and the process in my VO doesn't get complicated.

I wanted to share it with you guys, even I'm at work and I don't suppose to be doing it ;D.

God Bless you everyone!!!

Congrats gamyover! I'm getting super anxious now that I only see two others above me on the spreadsheet after you.... Hopefully by the end of the day tomorrow, before the weekend, they make good progress! Congrats again!
