Hi if somebody can provide a quick answer.
I am PNP inland AOR Jan 2017. I got my BOWP renewed last year and it will be expiring again in this summer. Can I renew it again this year since I have no answer from CIC on my permanent resident application ?

Hey guys! my manager who signed the employer letter for me has recently moved from our company and also left the US. I am wondering if I need to notify the IRCC and send them a new letter (based on my GCMS my eligibility is passed but I am under SS since August). Thanks.

Could they be searching for more information elsewhere? Or is it just a matter of time for CIC release my visa? IRCC notes: all passed! Thank you for your time

Its not only CSIS, bit also CBSA which is involved, and only after both agencies finish the security, is the application approved. It is CBSA where most of the delays take place.

In your last message you have confirmed that as far as in GCMS notes there are no wordings of "Security Screening", it means I am not in Security Screening. Although my background checks has taken more then 10 months.

What do you think that if I want to make sure 100% that whether I am in Security Screening or not, Should I order CBSA Notes? OR CSIS Notes? Which are more usefull to get maximum information. Someone told me that better to order CBSA because it will at least reveal that whether you are in Security Screening or not? Could you please provide your favorable advice in this regard.

Same issue here; I am renewing again in shaa Allah this month and yes we are eligible to renew as long as our PR applications are under processing.

@Hanan22 I am not in canada and my pgwp is expiring in August end. I want to visit canada in end of july to apply for bowp. Throughout my pgwp i didnt stay in canada. Do u think returning back to canada just before a month of pgwp expiry will still make me eligible to apply for bowp? I will just visit canada for around 20 days to apply for bowp and will return back afterwards. My eligibility is passed for PR application. Kindly guide.

In my case it has changed to "We are reviewing the additional documents you provided."
Let us see what will happen. Whether they are really reviewing or it is just because of bulk system update. If they are really reviewing my documents then I think it should not take much time to make decision now.

First of all, thank you for all your time and tremendous help you are providing to all fellow forum members.

I need your assistance on my application. I am FSW currently in NA2, AOR 22 Sept 2017, London visa office transfer on 15 Nov, and currently here is the status from my GCMS notes dates 15th January 2018:

ASSESSMENTS
Eligibility: Not Started
Security: Not Started
HIRV:
Criminality: Passed
Org Crime:
Medical: Passed
Misrepresentation:
Info Sharing: Complete
Other Reqs:
Final:

My main issue is that my file has not moved since 15th of November and the last time I checked with LVO, they gave me the standard answer that my file is ongoing background and security checks. No note of S.15 on my GCMS.

Any idea when I can expect to move to IP2? Is security only started in NA2? Based on my GCMS note, is my security started already ?

You do not have any info retracted under s15 as your security has not started. Security starts after eligibility is completed. Do you have any notes pertaining to eligibility in your GCMS?

CSIS and CBSA both do the security. In most cases CBSA is where the files get stuck. If CBSA has finished the security, and filed their report with IRCC, then IRCC will finalize the file and issue you a PPR.
