If you want to request GCMS notes, you will have to request it through this link: https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en

And the form you need is https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm5744e.pdf

If you are adding your sister to your application so that she can call IRCC and seek information, then you have to fill in this form https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm5475e.pdf

Authority to Release Personal Information to a Designated Individual [IMM 5475]

Fill this form and send it to IRCC via CSE webform.

Oh ok. I thought that IMM5475e will help her access my application information using call and also help her order gcms notes for me. But i think i need to give two separate forms. Thank you so much.
I misunderstood.

Good morning @legalfalcon , can you please help me understand the following " In case there is a match to an RCMP criminal database holding, the processing time can extend up to or exceed 120 days". What exactly falls under a criminal holding? And does charges that have being withdrawn months ago and currently updated in criminal record as no convictions still fall under "criminal holding "? Very crucial for me please and thank you

Hi @legalfalcon , thanks for all the effort you put in here. I have a question about getting married after AOR
I'm currently waiting for COPR and my partner and I decide to marry later this year.
If the time comes, Should I notice IRCC once we sign the paper, or I should hold until I receive the certificate?
my partner is a PR already, what information does he need to provide to IRCC? is there any checklist I can use?

Thanks

RCMP has no role. IF there is a match, then all RCMP will do is find your case file, they may have to contact the Provincial police for that, get your records, compile and submit it to IRCC. This takes time. Criminal law is Provincial subject and not federal.

It is IRCC that will make a final decision on criminal admissibility.

Irrespective of whether you prospective spouse is a PR or not, you have to inform IRCC if your family composition changes before you land. As soon as you get married, you will have to inform IRCC and submit your spouse's documents.

Thank you @legalfalcon. I am getting the runaround from the call centre agents who are not really informed on the processing of fingerprints. Someone from that department told me it would take 120 days to process my application because i went out of my way to tell her i have being fingerprinted in the past at a police station. But the police station I was arrested at and the police headquarters checked my file and confirmed that as of today my criminal record is updated to no record/conviction which makes me wonder what match the CCRTIS staff lady is referring to. But thanks for answering my question and alleviating my stress.

The security screening is not disclosed except the activities that you see in there. Usually you will have 2-5 such activities before the security is passed. Also, each application will go though a different security screening process, based on your individual application. Most inland applicants have record check, whereas outland applicants have a comprehensive security screening.

At an average, as per the security screening manual, it can take 110 days for the security screening to be concluded, and in some days even longer. There is no nothing much that you can do to expedite the process.

To read on security, and how it is done, see
Thanks for your detailed reply @legalfalcon. As per your experience and knowledge my security screening just started or is it close to finishing?

For eligibility, you will have to check the notes in the last 3-5 pages. You can compare them with the note here: #4,004

SW1-FED refers to Skilled Worker – Federal, i.e the program you applied for.
