Hi legalfalcon,

I received ITA. My children are Canadian citizen by birth.

In my application, they are un-accompanying family members. CIC is asking for (1) passport copy and (2) Family Member Proof of Status.

What are we supposed to upload for (2)?

Thanks,

Hi All,

I am writing here, as I created my profile on 31st August. I have 10 months and 2 weeks (45 weeks of Canadian Experience). My consultant told me that, since I am in FSW category, my Canadian experience will be counted as 1 year since, the working hours was 40 hours per week. if I consider my Canadian experience, my CRS is 457, else the score goes down to 409. Considering the case that 409, receiving ITA is highly impossible, I am planning to proceed with my Canadian experience to be part of my CRS score. I have given IELTS twice, and second time I got the score in LRWS as 8.5/7/7/8 with CLB9.

Anyone here with similar case of Canadian experience just less than a year in FSW, and still got Canadian PR processed and waiting to be processed. please help, since I am not getting a clear answer even from my consultant. Name of my consultant is Y-Axis.

Thanks,
Nishanth.

Hello @legalfalcon .

My AOR is 26th july, 2017. Over seven(7) months now. On 27th Feburary, 2018 my Status Change to IP2.

I sent an email to London visa Office on 20th feburary and i got the following Response on the same day:

Please be advised that your application is awaiting final review in our London office.

We thank you for your patience at this time. Rest assured we will contact if you if we require further information or additional documents.

Sincerely,

VCM

Please tell me:
1.What does it mean "awaiting final Review"?
2.What are the things done in final review does it mean that Eligibility/security etc have been done or are waiting to be done after seven months?
3. How Long is awaiting final review to PPR?

Your valuable insight will be highly appreciated. Looking Forward for your response.

Best Regards
Slmaan.

Hello, whats your time line for LMIA exempt work permit?

I applied for PNP paper based (i know its gonna take long) and online work permit (lmia exempt; hoping to arrive sooner).

I submitted my application online for work permit since last 30 Nov 2017 but have not heard anything..

Appreciate your inputs.

dear @legalfalcon

Could you please answer my question?

I am a PNP Inland Feb 27, 2017 applicant and I am under SS since July 26th, 2017. on Feb 27th, 2018 there was an update in my IRCC account showing that (we are reviewing additional docs you provided) even though I didn't submit any new docs. do you think this is just a system glitch? please advise. Thank you

It depends on what government job it was, with which country and the role and responsibilities. Only if one worked for the military or intelligence or in a similar setting, the security will take a little longer than usual.

However, just because one has a government job does not mean additional processing time.

Thank you for your response

Hello,
I recived RPRF request on 6th March and paid the fee on same day. Next day my Additional Documents Request changed to Not Applicable. No new updates so far..

Dear LegalFalcon,

Wish to know whether the security checks are done in batches for individuals. I know 7 more applicants whose background checks are in process from the start of Aug'17 and all these 8 files are with the same visa officer at Ottawa. We got to know about this by matching our GCMS notes. We all are stuck for 7.5 months in BGC and have AORs in May/June'17!! We are 4 Nigerians and 4 Indians. What could be the reason of delay for so many people with the same officer? And can we collectively raise it to IRCC to expedite our cases?

Gratitude for your valuable advice in advance.

Hello, I'm 22oct aor, IP2 from 21 dec...i call ircc today...thay say that security for my husband is passed in 8 march, and my security not passed yet...can i expect ppr soon?

Hello:)

Any suggestions regarding this scenario would be much-appreciated @legalfalcon :)

What will happens if someone wants to cancel/withdraw his/her PR application? Will it affect that person in the future if he/she wants to reapply again for PR, including express entry or as a PNP? Let's say, this person is PNP nominee and sent all documents to the Sydney office and a halfway to his/her permanent residency, but wants to withdraw due to personal reasons. Please advice.

The answer is yes, it will impact further applications. This is because one of the main criteria for PR is the intention to stay permanently in Canada. If you withdraw your application mid way, and if you have a solid reason, you are good. But the reason better be good to convince, so that the IRCC does not feel that you will do the same, or if grants PR,. you may never settle permanently in Canada.

ok i have done everything asked ? now how many days should i wait?

Is this a questions, a statement or just your frustration?

Thanks @legalfalcon

Will the cBSA/CSIS notes be able to identify if I am under SS?
Where do you recommend in getting these notes? (i.e. best service provider to use)

The CBSA / CSIS notes will simply tell you if CBSA and CSIS have finished their involvement in your security check.

You can request your notes from www.getgcms.com

For 2 also upload the PP copy.

However, check if you have to include Canadian Citizens on the application. As far as I remember, you do not add dependent children on the application who are Canadian citizens.
