Dear @legalfalcon My first ITA was received in June. I applied and our application was rejected as they wanted my PCC for Dubai and the US.
I received my second ITA on 6 September and have all required documents now.
Dubai does not issue PCC on a visit visa. My total stay in Dubai was 7 months - over a period of two years. I have an email from Dubai Police saying that they don't issue PCC on visit visas.
My total stay in the US was 95 days. I have submitted the form for FBI and have the receipt.
My question is now should I wait till the end of the application deadline i.e. 6 Dec and then submit my documents or should I go ahead and submit everything now? My PCC for other countries will expire if I wait till December - These are valid till 16 October.
Please advice.

CEC is very slow and it is taking forever to even start processing. You should definitely call and email to enquire the status, you can also consider ordering GCMS notes, which provides a greater insight into your application. You can read more on GCMS here - https://www.getgcms.com/blog/gcms-notes-look-like-order/

Hello @legalfalcon
As per your recommendation, I ordered GCMS notes which says my Eligibility, Security and Criminality is not started yet. Also R10 says OK- Recommendation Pass.
The only thing concerning me is - there is a note created by Program Assistant: CASE PARKED DUE TO THE FOLLOWING MISSING DOCUMENTS: CLARIFICATION LETTER.
This note was created on the same date and time when they requested me my travel info IMM5562 as additional document (Aug 17,2017)

Is there anything i should do about it or is there anything to worry ? Also please advice if there is anything else i should be looking for in my GCMS NOTES.
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank You

Hello LegalFalcon,
I received my PPR yesterday, my sincere thanks to all your guidance. Am currently residing in US and planning to mail the passports to Ottawa.
Me and my spouse hold Indian passports whereas my daughter holds US passport. Should I mail my child's original passport too or photocopy is sufficient ?

Thanks,
Sasi

Hello LegalFalcon,
Thank you for your help and tremendous support on this forum.

After reading your post, I had submitted a request for the status of my immigration screening to CSIS via Fax:

Assistant Director, Operations
Canadian Security Intelligence Service
P.O. Box 9732, Station T
Ottawa, ON
K1G 4G4
Fax: 613-369-2954

They mention a processing time of 8 weeks. I have not received any acknowledgement or confirmation that they received my request. I faxed it on Sept 8th.

Is it typical of CSIS to not send any acknowledgement of the request?
Do they just send the report in 8 weeks?

Appreciate your feedback in advance!

Dear Legalfalcon,

Is there any problem if I take job reference letter from ex-colleague on one date and get it notarised on another date?

Hi all,
Regarding my notes, the only thing that caught my attention was this note :

'IMM0008, BOX 2, CATEGORY WAS INCORRECTLY ENTERED BY CLIENT BUT DOCUMENTS SUPPORT A PNP APPLICATION WHICH HAS BEEN FORWARDED FOR FURTHER PROCESSING'

I am not sure what they mean by it. any thoughts?

I submitted my EE Profile in mid May 2017 but there was a mistake in my work history, i got the ITA immediately as my score was 445, i didn't decline or accept the invitation and forgot to login again, later i created a new profile as i couldn't recall my login credentials. I once again got ITA in the draw held last week. I got an e-mail day before yesterday that my profile got expired, when i recalled the credentials and successfully logged in, I revoked my old GCKey as I had already created a new profile. I noticed one thing that my revoked ID was already issued a UCI which i forgot to note down as i didn't know I would be asked about it, now while filling the eAPP in my new profile there is a question that whether i applied for canadian immigration? Should i answer it YES? or would it be misrepresentation if i answered it NO?

Hello, @legalfalcon I have a question regarding Education History. My friend's Engineering (Graduation) academic years are from 2007-11, however, there were some papers that were not cleared by him in time and he finally cleared in 2013. So, what his educational history should state in Express Entry? Should it be 2007-11 (4 Years) or 2007-2013 (6 Years)? Also, ECA was done for this degree and got a report from them stating Bachelor Degree (4 Years). He is really confused on how to present it. Kind help

Thank you. This person will be available over the phone, only his official email ID will not be functional after one week. In case if he gets call over the phone, he can very well reply to IRCC.

Another query : If I get in to IP2 and than PPR before he left, still does it required to inform IRCC. I am PNP applicant and in NA2 stage since last 38 days. Any guess for further movement?

Thank you again for your precious time and reply.

If your application is approved, there is no need to inform IRCC. However, IP, NA are not an accurate reflection of which stage your application is. The job reference letters are verified during the eligibility.

To see if your have passed the eligibility, you should get GCMS notes.

To read more on different stages of an application see https://www.getgcms.com/blog/express-entry-application-processed/

Thank you so much!!

So its not mandatory to get it rectified before landing?

Your CoPR will be the proof of your PR so you need your documents which are correct and accurate.

Hello Legalfalcon,

have a query with regards to NOC, my primary NOC is 0121 which i selected in EE profile. But few job responsibilities match with the the NSNP demand list occupation 6235. i thought of changing my primary NOC in EE profile to 6235 and apply for NSNP. But 0121 is NOC category 0 and 6235 is NOC category B and my reference letter has all my designations as regional head.
Do u think i can still apply for 6235 or they will reject since my reference letter has a category 0 designations?

Appreciate your advice

When selecting the NOC, the applicant does not need to demonstrate that they meet the “employment requirements” listed in the NOC occupational description or the designation, rather the job duties.

@legalfalcon how long does IRCC take to complete the security part of the EE application??

The security or the BGC of an application is unpredictable. It can take as little as 1 day to as much as 2 years or more. On average, it is a few weeks. It all depends on whether an application is under 'Security Screening or not.'

Hi LegalFalcon Sir,

Do you have the result now? I am very eagerly waiting for it. Thanks and have a nice day :)

BR

I am almost done, expect a reply in a few hours.
