Ok hi everyone and I appreciate if you can give me saome advice on this issue as I will start getting in touch with my former employers;

I stated my primary NOC as 0124 and I have provided 4 years of experience for that.... My other experiences (which are after the primary one) are all listed under A nd B level NOC codes and they are less than 1 year seperately ( like 5 months, 11 months and 10 months) and they have some gaps in between... I stated these on my EE profile... however after receving my ITA I am confused over the fact that people say FSW and EE calculates the work experience points differently...

So in my opinion if I am getting the max points for 3 years , theres no need for my other experiences to be under my work history and I dont need to rush for reference letters because I dont need them ?

But on the other hand if after e-apr FSW will calculate it differently ( meaning if they will combine these months and if my experience of 6 years will get me more points for the fsw grid) I should keep them and get references... because we will be graded on the 100 FSW as well...

Please inform me if this info is wrong since I have read lots of threads about this and I am not sure what to do... Its not hard to get a reference letter but what is the point if I am not going to get anything for after 3 years....

Lost....

Anyone with any opinion ?

I have a problem of name. I have two names first name AAAA last name BBBB. Both my names are same in my all documents educational as well as ID card / Passport.

Now the problem is that my father name is has spelling mistakes as well as full name error but thats interesting as well.

My father name in my ID/Passport is ( Abu Bakar Fatani)

My father name in my educational docs is (Aboo Baker) only.

My father name in his Passport is (Aboo Baker Fatani).

So now I have the problem I dont want to change my father name in any of my documents because it is a looong and hectic process in my country and I know that I dont have the power to do that. I have heard people saying about affidavits but my questions are

1. Can I make affidavit alone without needing my father in it? (But there is no problem in my name)

2. If my father makes an affidavit how will he make it and how can it help me because I am applying not my father?

3. As I am not changing my names looking for an affidavit only so do I still have to choose the option that I have used different names?

Please help legalfalcon

Hi Legalfalcon,

Is W2 acceptable along with reference letter as a salary proof?

Yes, W2 statements are acceptable. Even your income tax returns, any financial statements, receipts that support your claim can be used.

I stopped ordering GSCM notes after I completed 6 months , but I should order it right now..

Have a great day,

I have written a post on the importance of GCMS notes in the past. The crux is that the GCMS notes not only inform you where your file is, it sometimes also helps your file to move ahead. In many cases the files is stuck since the IRCC is waiting for a document. When the document arrives, it has to be updated in your file for it to progress. This process takes weeks. But when you order GCMS notes an agent is forced to open your file to review it before it is sent to you. When he does it and sees a pending document, he will update it.

So order your notes.

Hi LegalFalcon

Thanks for you help in the past. However, I would like to know if there would be any issue if we submitted our documents post ITA and before e-APR (we have a month remaining) as a married couple.

We got ITA based on common-law but we don't feel that we have enough documentation based on past immigration submission were we listed each other as single.

Now the question really is if we get married and submit the documents a few days after, will that strike any concern? We have been together for many years, so I would like to know what we could do
to make our case. The common-law route seems to fall in the category of misrepresentation which is something we would definitely like to avoid.

Thanks again!

I don't under stand your questions well. Could you provide me with a little more details and rephrase it.

Yes, you can make an affidavit stating that your fathers name is different in your education records and your passport. However, it refers to the same person.

2. If my father makes an affidavit how will he make it and how can it help me because I am applying not my father?
If your father makes an affidavit, he can simply state that his name one one document is xxx and other is yyyy, but both the documents are his. He can attatch the documents as a part of the affidavit. But, your affidavit would be sufficient and if IRCC has an issue with your affidavit, they can ask for more documents and that is when you can ask your father to make an affidavit.

3. As I am not changing my names looking for an affidavit only so do I still have to choose the option that I have used different names?
No, your name is the same, but it is your father's name that is different. So you have been known as AAA, BBB. so your answer will be NO.

You can go ahead and submit your application. As you have correctly noted that the system does not take into account the date, but only the month. Moreover, your CRS score is way over the cutoff score and you will not have issues. The application is locked when you file it Post ITA, it is that date when everything is locked. For eg. an applicant who started his job in 2015 April, will only have one yer of work experience. If that applicant receives an ITA in April 2015, the system will take into consideration his 2 years of work ex.

If you are concerned, you can file a letter of explanation with your application explaining the situation.

Hope this helps!

Hi Legalfalcon,

Thank you for that. I am finishing my 2 years on 30th March this year and for that I got points (25). I have collected all my documents. Can I submit application now or should I wait until I finish my 2 years exactly and then submit it?. I did medical and PCC and everything already. For my 1 year, I get 434 points and for 2 years I get 459 points. The time I got ITA, draw was 447.

What do you suggest

Thanks

Hi legalfalcon,

I am new to this forum and have been trying to find answers to unlock my CIC account. My situation is as below:-

I have received the ITA I paid and applied on Feb 16th 2017 and got locked out of the account due to security questions answered incorrectly. I have filled the IRCC Web Form, they say 10 business working days but no reply has come so far. I am applying from India so can't call the Toll Free number directly but tried via the alternate number using Skype have called 6 times have been unsuccessful to connect. I spoke to their Call Centre executive who answered queries related to the GCKey they said they don't deal with these issues and leave an email at their questions (at) cic.ca but from the forum research so far people have not had any luck with this email address. 10 days have passed since issue has been reported using the IRCC web-form, I have left messages on their Twitter handle too. I am just feeling too helpless now can you please suggest ways to get out this issue.

Your Help would be much appreciated.

Hi Legal falcon,

Request your advise for below query:

I received this message:
Schedule A: A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form
(IMM 5669) ( with no gaps) bearing an original signature for you and spouse . This must be received
at this office by: 2017/03/31

AOR date: 16th November.

I dont see any gaps in my e-AOR then why this request ?
Though I dont remember all addresses of last 10 years, hence have mentioned area name for older addresses.

Do you think there is any issue in my application ?
Does it mean they are going to check all my last 10 year addresses physically ?

Pls help.

Thanks in advance.

sorry for the delayed reply, but wait until you finish your two years and then file. That will give you enough points and you will get an ITA in the next cut-off.

I understand your concerns and sometimes it is too depressing to see the delay. However, nothing much can be done except wait for them to get back to you. Send an email at CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca and see if you get any response. Keep me posted.
