Hi @legalfalcon, how it is possible that the security check was finished in one day? My friend call the IRCC and was told that the security has not been started yet, but received PPR the day after. Is it true based on your previous post that all inland applicants will be sent to CSIS for at least a record check?
Security checks are very variable and depend on many factors. If the file was only subject to a record, check, it will be fairly quick, and one day is sufficient.

Hi @legalfalcon
sorry for the repetition if you have my post at All about Gcms.
appreciate your help in advance.
i ordered my GCMS via a firend of mine, who is a permanent resident, more than 30days ago.
but now, i just came to know, when submitting my application, identity proof of requester, such as PR card, is needed.
however, on the submission page, it writes that only the consent form is mandatory, so i did not bother to upload anything else.
i am worried whether my application is valid, and should i apply again?
I believe I have answered this before.

Hello @legalfalcon bro

Thanks for clearing my queries so many times, and hope you are doing great. I am filing my Canada citizenship application shortly and have a question regarding my employment. I worked for company X from April 2020 and this company was merged and taken over by company Y last year on Aug 2022. In the offer letter given by company Y, they recognized my employment with company X and mentioned my service of continuity would be from April 2020 to present. So now, while filing my employment details in the application, what should i mention from the following options? Please advise. Thanks very much

Option A : Worked for X from April 2020 to Aug 2022,
Worked for Y from Aug 2022 to present

or

Option B: Worked for Y from April 2020 to Present
(And write a LOE explaining the merger and all)

Appreciate your help!!

Good Morning @legalfalcon

2 Part Question but related

Below is my current status according to the IRCC Call Center

EE-PNP

Medical: Completed
Biometrics: Completed
Criminality: Completed
Security: Completed
Information Sharing: In Progress
Eligibility: Not Started

I have ordered GCMS Notes, but still waiting for them to arrive. From your experience, is it normal for IRCC to begin Criminality/Security/Information Sharing before they actually start the review of eligibility? I'm aware that these three components need to be completed before Final Eligibility is completed, but with regards to the other components of eligibility (Work Experience, Program I applied for, document verification etc.) - would that part of the application have been looked at by an analyst / assistant already and that's what initiated the Background check component? Or, is there a chance that the Edibility actually hasn't started yet at all? I know the notes will be the source of truth, but without them I don't know.

My biggest concern is, I applied for AINP under NOC2016 (2281- 4 days before the change over in November), I received a nomination on the 22nd November which was assessed under NOC2021 (22220). I know the Ministerial Instructions stated that any NOC2016 Nominations need to be submitted using NOC2021 93888.

Alberta emailed me back a few days later saying they made an error with the Nomination Certificate and issued a certificate using NOC2016 (same certificate number, same details etc just the NOC was different). I submitted my Profile using NOC2021 Code and NOC 2021 Nomination as per my Original Nomination Certificate. I ended up submitting a webform a few days later with a copy of the email Alberta Sent me explaining their mistake, another copy of both Certificates, and a LOE explaining why I submitted my EE profile under NOC 2021 (22220).

Would this be up to the Reviewing Officer to take those facts into consideration? or will that be a hard and fast rule that I submitted my EE profile incorrectly based on the Ministerial Instructions.

Any general insight would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I hope you are doing well. Recently, got my CSIS notes and I am still in security screening since July 2020 (For 2.5 years). This time, letter included clause S. 19(1) as well.
What does this clause means ?

Please, let me know what options do I have to resolve this issue.

Hi,

I had received PR with my family and i came to Canada with my family on 20th January 2022.
My Son went back to India in February 2022 ( Just in 28 days ) Due to complete his degree and will back in September 2023.

My question is there any rules PR holder have to visit Canada once in year ?

Is that ok if he will back in September which is almost 18 months since he leave Canada ?

s.19 refers to the exemption under which CSIS can redact the personal information of an individual whose information may be in your file, but has not given authority to release it.

  • 19 (1) Subject to subsection (2), the head of a government institution shall refuse to disclose any record requested under this Part that contains personal information.

Yes, it is possible. For some applicants when eligibility is recommended passed, and before it is actually set to pass by an officer, the security may commence. No concerns in this regards.
Hi @legalfalcon my eligibility recommend passed and all other passed. So my eligibility will passed during final review? Aor 10 nov 2022 pnp EE

Hi @legalfalcon
Sorry for bothering you with my query.

I landed in CA and left after two weeks
My PR card is lost in mail as it has been almost three months since approved and mailed.

Shall I mail solemn declaration form while being outside Canada and meanwhile apply for PRTD?
Or just apply for PRTD only?

Hello @legalfalcon, please help

I got my GCMS notes today and its very confusing/incorrect. Below are some inaccuracies in my notes,

  1. I am a Software engineer with NOC 21231 and I have mention this everywhere in my documents and application. But when I see my notes I see some weird NOC codes 3113 and 1243 for dentist and coordinator (in red below)
  2. The years of foreign experience is not counted correctly. Its mentioned 2022-12. But I am in Canada since 2021-10.
  3. The canadian experience is also shown as 2 years 5 months. But I only had 1 year of work ex when I applied.
  4. Somethings like the salary and review required reasons(couldn't provide work ex on letter head but provided all other supporting docs) I can say are valid.

I am confused if the notes are generated incorrectly or there is a backend data mixup with my application because they also say that the job description matches with the lead statement and main duties.

Question, should I call IRCC agent and ask them to make a note of this or raise a webform for this observation?

Due date on the file is 2 March.

Below are my GCMS notes extract.

- Junior Dentist (NOC: 3113) - at Dr. Phani's Dental Clinics - Doc# 547893006 - Letter dated 2022-11-24appears to confirm employment in declared occupation throughout the specified period, and provides a job description which is consistent with the lead statement and main duties as set out in the declared NOC category. NOTE: ****NOTE:REVIEW REQUIRED OF EMPLOYMENT RECORD FOR DUTIES, NOT ON COMPANIES LETTERHEAD - EDOC # 547893006**** - Letter confirms salary of Rs 3,33,475/yr - Letter confirms full/time employment; - Documented Income Provided: Pay stubs from 2015-2018 (eDoc# 547893006) CRS Foreign Work: 3 years and 1 month.2020-07 to 2022-12 - Assignment Coordinator (NOC:1243) - at Paramed Home Health Care - Doc#547893007 - Web-based search confirms employer information - Letter dated 2022-11-24 appears to confirm employment in declared occupation throughout the specified period, and provides a job description which is consistent with the lead statement and main duties as set out in the declared NOC category. NOTE: NOTE: REVIEW REQUIRED OF EMPLOYMENT RECORD FOR DUTIES, EMPLOYEE WAS UNABLE TO OBTAIN AN EXPERIENCE LETTER FROM EMPLOYER WITH DUTIES (LETTER WAS ISSUED BY PA) - EDOC# 547893007 - Letter confirms salary of $92000/yr -Letter confirms full/time employment; - Documented Income Provided: Pay stubs from 2021 (eDoc# 547893007), Both a T4 and a NOA from 2021 (eDoc#547893007) CEC Work: 2 years and 5 months. @legalfalcon i just want to know whether to add our child IRCC will re-open the file if a COPR does get issued in the interim period before birth. We want to avoid the sponsorship route if possible; it would be best to land as a family and get the PR status activated.

If your family composition has changed, you have to inform IRCC. If by then a COPR has been issued, it will be called back, the file will be re-opened and after your child has been assessed, the file will be concluded and new COPRs will be issued to all family members.
