Applications are transferred to different offices and sometimes reassigned to different officers due to work load and other factors depending on the application and the staffing issues. Some information can only be verified by getting inputs for foreign offices are needs specialised trained staff. This is specific for each application and differs.

To read on file transfers see https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/service-delivery/file-transfer.html

Instead focus on the notes in the last 3-5 pages and see if your eligibility is passed.

Also, if your security is passed, then most likely everything else is done as security is the last stage to be dealt with. See https://bit.ly/3apWglN

Hello @legalfalcon Need Your Advice,

I am applying for express entry next month with my common-law partner. She is inland. She is eligible under New Public Policy (Essential worker category). she is applying as principal applicant and me as dependent under new TR to PR pathway And Later, next month Can I also apply her as accompanying under express entry?

Is it fine?

Dear @legalfalcon, I am one of all EE PNP inlands applicants and out application is completely on hold and no one processing it. This is so frustrating I can’t find the right words. Do you have any thoughts on this issue and why IRCC is not processing EE PNP inlands at all but processing CEC only? It doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. Thanks!

Hi @legalfalcon

I looked around the forum and found that you have some great experience and capacitance on Canadian Immigration process.
After the additional medical exam for my wife has been done at the PP, are all the other processes such as background check and eligibility review done as well?
In other words, does IRCC process the other steps while waiting for this 60-days sputum culture test (additional medical exam)? At the end, the sputum test was negative (no disease).
FYI, I applied for Temporary Visa (Foreign Worker) and I will bring my family with me to Canada.

Thank you for time to look at my question.

Have a good day.

You can file two applications. However, you will be duplicating the work and paying double. Instead you can apply under EE with your CLP as non accompanying and your CLP can apply under TR to PR pathway as you non accompanying.

This will you will pay the fee only once for each of you.

There are delays all across IRCC and nothing much will change either until the lockdowns and travel restrictions are lifted. I understand the frustration, but there is nothing much you can do except to wait.

Yes, if you have been asked for additional medical tests, other stages will continue to progress.

Thank you for your swift response, @legalfalcon .

As of your experience or others' experience, what is the expected timeline from this Additional Medical Exam done to get the Passport Request?
FYI, now I am still at day 7th after the Panel Physician (PP) submitted the result via E-Medical.

Once again, thank you for your advice.
Appreciate it.

There are no such specific time frames and currently the time frames that were valid before COVID do not apply. You will just have to wait. Just ask your panel physician if the results have been sent, and if they are, then they will be evaluated by IRCC and updated in your file.

Thanks, @legalfalcon for the info.
I've already asked the PP and he screenshot the E-Medical from his screen showing the result was submitted.
I think all I need to do is waiting for the next 2 to 3 weeks.
I'll share my timeline on this forum as well once I got update from IRCC.
Once again, thanks, @legalfalcon .

Hi @legalfalcon : I had applied for my GCMS notes around one month back and have received it. I have gone through your posts on how to interpret the GCMS notes but it would be really helpful if you could provide your insights on the same. My details are below:

Category: FSW-Outland
Country of residence - India
AOR: 21st September, 2020
Primary Office: New Delhi
Secondary Office: Centralized Intake Office

GCMS notes:
ASSESSMENTS
Eligibility: Passed
Security: Not Started
HIRV:
Criminality: Not Started
Org Crime:
Medical: Passed
Misrepresentation:
Info Sharing: Complete
Other Reqs:
Final:

Notes:
Label: EE Eligibility
Office: Centralized Intake Office

A11.2 - CASE PROCESSING AGENT: FSW Having analyzed this application based on the documents submitted by the applicant and the information contained in the file, I make the following recommendation.

A11.2: Met R75: FSW MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Met R76: SELECTION CRITERIA - FSW POINTS : APPEARS TO MEET R76: SELECTION CRITERIA - FUNDS : APPEARS TO MEET FSW points total: 73 Ready to Finalize RPRF.

I have a few questions based on the above:

1. Country of residence - My country of residence while applying was Netherlands (still is). Shouldn't my Primary office be London instead of New Delhi? Isn't country of residence different from country of citizenship?
2. Will the application move to an officer post this?

Your inputs in the above will be really helpful and will help to reduce the anxiety :)

Thanks in advance!

All applications will have primary and secondary visa office listed in the GCMS notes. The secondary visa office will keep changing based on where your application currently is.

Primary office is responsible for the over processing of your application and finally finalising it.

During the processing, based on work load distribution, and specific requirements required, the file is transferred to many secondary offices.

See https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/service-delivery/file-transfer.html

1. The primary office is based on the where most of your work references, PCCs and any country specific verifications may be needed.

2. See above.
