Got remedical request in January saw my GCMS notes today
**OFFICER REVIEW** EE Eligibility: passed. Based on documents submitted and assessment of Case Analyst/
Processing Agent, I am reasonably satisfied that PA met the minimum requirements of CEC/FSW programs
regulations. PA meets the definition of provincial nominee and selection under PN program. I am satisfied that
PÅ meets A11.2 assessment. PA appears to have the ability to become economically established in the
nominated province. I am satisfied that PA meets eligibility under EE-M1 PV2.

This is a note that shows that you have conclusively met the criteria for the program under which you applied, i.e. PNP (PV2 is the code for PNP nominee applicants).

Since your eligibility is conclusively passed, your security would be initiated.

Since my security has not started, I am thinking that this is not related to security screening.

When I checked section 16 online, this is what I found:

(2) The head of a government institution may refuse to disclose any record requested under this Part that contains information that could reasonably be expected to facilitate the commission of an offence, including, without restricting the generality of the foregoing, any such information

There is no need to be concerned, most GCMS notes will have information redacted under s15 or 16. However, redacting 90 pages is way too much.

Also, IRCC had reported the following messages for some GCMS notes released:


"Please be advised that we are currently experiencing a system glitch and for this reason some sections have been removed from the report. Rest assured that we are providing you with the most recent report which includes the status update of the file, the officers electronic notes and/or the reason for refusal."

But this was most likely resolved.

If you see anything relevant thing missing, as compared to your last notes, you can get the Office of the Information Commissioner review the redaction if it was in accordance with law, if it all matters.

Please note that i called CBSA yesterday, i have a valid copr post march and AL, from what i understood i am allowed in the country but my immediate family are not allowed as soon as my application is approved, but only when my status is updated on their system or something like that. Any idea about this please? How long does it take for my status to be updated on their system? Shouldnt a copy of a stamped copr be enough proof ?

If you have a Valid COPR and AL, you can enter Canada as you are exempt form travel exemption. As soon as you land, and are admitted into Canada, you become a PR, and thus your immediate family becomes eligible to travel as they will be exempt under immediate family exemption.

Your status should be updated as soon as your COPR is stamped and a copy of the stamped COPR should suffice as proof of PR. However, you and your family cannot all land at the same time.

We’re currently finalizing most applications we received between

May 10 and 16, 2020
In the past 3 months, the majority (80%) of the applications we finalized were received during this period.


My understanding is that in the last 3 months, they were basically processing application from 6 days in May....?

Recently, I did a medical test and my blood pressure was 130/90. All my other tests were normal. I asked the doctor if my blood pressure was normal and he said that it's normal. He measured it only once and didn't even request any further tests. Usually my blood pressure is around 120/80 but I was little bit feeling nervous when I visited the clinic.

However, I was reading the "hypertension" manual of IRCC https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/department/partner/pp/pdf/imei_hypertension.pdf

It's mentioned that

High blood pressure is defined as a repeated blood pressure (repeated 3 times) measured in the doctor’s office, of: -
≥140mmHg systolic pressure; or -
≥90 mm Hg diastolic pressure.

My questions are

-1- As per the above statement in red, can I understand that my blood pressure is considered a "hypertension" since my diastolic pressure is 90? The clinic told me that if my blood pressure was 140/90 or more, it is considered as hypertension.
-2- Might IRCC reject my application because of this 130/90 blood pressure?
-3- Can people with hypertension still pass the medical test?
-4- If everything is alright in the medical exam and only there is a relatively high blood pressure (like 130/90), can this causes inadmissibility?
-5- What are the cases that are considered as "excessive demand" cases? Can blood pressure of 130/90 causes an "excessive demand"?

It is true that some applicants are receiving COPRs. It could be that case that they are getting it based on their request that they are extended or immediate family members.

Also, eventfully they will have to give COPRs to all outlaw applicants once the travel restrictions are relaxed, which should be late summer hopefully.

Got CoPR and visa october 2020, no ties, no family, no essential job... Can't do anything but wait until doc's expire or until restrictions get lifted.
Meanwhile we wanted to purchase a business which can't go on
