If your family composition changes, you have to inform IRCC and your new born has to be added to your application. You can add a new born even if your application has approved, and if you have not landed.Dear @legalfalcon ,
I submitted my PR application on Jan 2020 and due to COVID there is no definite timeline when I'll be getting the confirmation. My wife (dependent) is 5 weeks pregnant and tentative due date is last week of July 2021. What is the best way to go ahead in this situation? Do we need to inform IRCC about it or be optimistic that confirmation would come soon? Even if I get the confirmation soon, due to travel restrictions I feel it would be difficult at this time to land in Canada before birth.
Could you please advise me on this situation? Thanks, in advance.
