It's been 15+ days since he requested an AL for Imm.Fam.Mem. Should he wait OR allow his family to travel Canada based on docs viz, Marriage Certificate, Birth Cert., SIN no., Utility Bill, etc, and few other docs which prove his PR status in Canada? -- TIA

Hi, If a wife/kid travelling as an immediate family member of Permanent Resident,can the reunite in a same flat for next 14 days including him? FYI,he has already completed 14 days of quarantine. --- TIA

Hi @legalfalcon , IRCC says you do not require an AL letter to travel as an Immediate Fam Member BUT at the airport, airlines are insisting on Authorisation Letter (a few IFM got offloaded as well). My friend has applied AL for wife and kid but no response yet from IRCC. What he should do now...

AWESOME! and what all documents he need to send to his immediate family Members to travel with an ease.

So,No AL is required in case of an immediate family member of a Canadian citizen BUT as an IFM of a Permanent Resident requires an AL to travel.... right?

Asking on behalf of a friend in distress!! As a valid COPR holder (along with spouse and an infant) he booked a flight to Toronto from his home country. Upon reaching the airport he was being advised by the airlines that his infant can't travel as his visa was approved & issued after 18th March...
