Hello @legalfalcon

I have recently applied for my PR. I have uploaded the employment reference letter which was issued last year in Feb 2019. In that letter it has all the prerequisites required for express entry with my start date until feb 2019. However, I left the company in Aug 2019.

In the letter it stated that I was currently working there (in Feb 2019), now I am not. Does it affect my PR application? I have included a letter of explanation regarding this and also included my T4's and pastubs until Aug 2019.

Note: I am only claiming the work experience from Jan 2017 to Jan 2019 only (2 Years total)

Do you think they will reject my application as incomplete?

Thanks @legalfalcon

Hello @legalfalcon still waiting for your response :)

Thanks

Hi @legalfalcon

We got our third ADR asking for updated Police Clearance on Aug 4. We submitted it on Aug 6. One thing different this time is that when I login to the cic account, the status under Review of additional documents is Not Applicable.

Usually, after ADR submission the status is the date cic opened the file and "We are reviewing the additional documents you provided".

Not sure what to make of it.

AOR is Oct 5 2018. Almost two years waiting :(

Are you CEC, is this work experience in Canada? Are you claiming points for arranged employment?

This is normal, after the states changes to "We are reviewing the additional documents you provided" it changes back to NA.

Hello @legalfalcon

Yes, I am CEC candidate and the work experience I am claiming is a Canadian experience. It’s not an arrangement employment it was a full time job I did for one of the leading ISP in Canada.

Note: I worked in that company from Jan 2017 to Aug 2019 the letter issued in feb 2019 which demonstrates 2 years of experience until feb 2019

Since aug 2019 until now I am on a visitors visa

Thanks

Hello @legalfalcon

My spouse has her own EE FSW outland application in process. She recently moved to Canada along with dependant child on visitor status. Our last GCMS notes show file is approved. We received the following letter couple of weeks ago

Dear *******

The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days of your, the primary applicant’s Confirmation of Permanent Residence. Please note that this letter pertains to your overseas dependent(s). Passport for overseas dependent(s) should only be submitted once the primary applicant has received the Confirmation of Permanent Residence status. If for any reason you are not able to meet this deadline, please inform us immediately by email to: CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca with details concerning your situation. As the primary applicant, you will be contacted separately by your local IRCC office in regard to your landing appointment.

The next page of the letter explains how to submit 2 photos and passport copies and return envelop.
We made a little mistake. A week after my wife landed in Canada, she updated her address to Canadian address but she forgot to submit another address change form for our newborn child, who also moved to Canada with her.
We assumed IRCC still thinks our newborn dependent is still out of Canada and issued the above letter. Is it so??
We submitted a new address change form for our dependant son after we received the above letter. We also sent an email to CPC ottawa email id provided in the letter above. We have not received any response form either IRCC or local visa office for our address change forms and email.

What should we be doing now? The letter above mentioned we need to submit passport copies of our dependent (who they assume is still outside Canada) within 30 days of receiving COPR. But we haven't received any COPR yet.
Should we just wait and let 30 days pass?
Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Thank you.

Thanks a lot. Will such incorrectly entered info by IRCC block my app moving forward? My application hasn't had any progress ever since Notes 1.

My eligibility says Review Required on Arranged Employment, which I claimed points for. All other aspects of my eligibility is assessed/verified. On my AOR / lock-in date, my LMIA is still valid. My understanding is that as long as my lock-in date is before my LMIA validity date, it's NOT a problem even if LMIA expires in the middle of my EE approving process.

Due to Covid, ESDC has extended my LMIA validity from April to later this month. My initial hope was to get my PR result by then, so that I don't have to apply for a work permit. I am not sure having a temporary work permit application would affect my EE approval.

Hi Moosas, did you contact ESDC to extend your LMIA expiry or it is automatically extended due to Covid? I did not contact ESDC but I was under impression it is extended automatically. Can you share how you extended this please? I really appreciate your reply.
