We had submitted the documents on October 17th. My cic profile always had "Additional documents: We don't need any additional documents at this stage". It was the same when they had requested for the additional docs. I am wondering if you know the estimate on when can we expect PPR. The background was started on October 11th with additional docs request, Docs were submitted on October 17th. I am also worried about Security Screening. Do you think they can put someone in SS once their BG is at final stage?

Does Someone as an inland cec applicant need Pcc from home country as well canada? Or just home country and countries of travel for more than six months??

As per IRCC:

• For the applicant’s current country of residence, the police certificate must have been issued no more than six months before the submission of the e-APR.
• For countries in which the applicant no longer resides, the police certificate must have been issued after the last time the applicant lived in that country.
• Police certificates are required up front and are mandatory for each country (except Canada) where an individual has lived for a total of six months or more. This instruction is for the purpose of the completeness check under section R10. However, it is always at an officer’s discretion to request a new or additional police certificate.

I will be removing my parent later this month and replacing my deposit again, with only my name and spouse (My parent was a joint holder only from 31.07.17, before that it was only me for like 1 1/2 years). Do I still need to provide an affidavit from my parent?

She's in Australia now so will have to wait until she comes back in 03 months.

If your mother is no longer a joint account holder, you do not need any affidavit.

The first set should be ordered 30-45 days after AoR. This is when R10 and medicals are cleared and eligibility started.

Dear legalfalcon,

I have recently applied for NSNP demand EE. I need some clarification on NOC. My primary NOC in EE profile is 0121(Financial Brokerage Manager) and i have applied under NOC 6235 (Financial Sales Representative) which is in the demand list.

My job responsibilities in my reference letter match both 0121 and 6235. Since it is mentioned under the NOC 6235 main duties that a financial sales representative performs some or all of the following duties and since some duties of my reference letter are matching i applied under this NOC.

Now my query is if i have to change my primary NOC in EE profile to 6235 from 0121.

Request your expert advice so that i can make the changes in EE profile before they start processing my application

Have you already received a nomination from NS?

You can change your NOC after receiving ITA. No issues with it. Just make sure that the NOC you are claiming matches your NOC on the nomination certificate and also the job reference letter.

dear Lrgalfalcon,

i received my GCMS notes on October 3, printed on sep 18, my time line below. my concern is according to GCMS notes my primary office is CIO and secondary office is CPC Ottawa, CPC vegerevilla and OSC- Operation Support Center, on September 25 i came to know by calling CIC that my file is transferred to London UK for further processing, on October 18, sent an email to London and they replied that my file is awaiting for an officer review.

yesterday i spoke to CIC again on the update and the customer service told me that my file is still not return to Canada, i was amazed, coz VO offices are responsible for the Final decision, out of curiosity i ask her again that my file has to be return to canada and she says yes.

can you just shed some light on my case

I have put my application in the pool. The score is 440. However I have a few queries.

1. My NOC is 1112 for which I have a job responsibilities letter from my previous employer. Experience was for 2 years and 10 months. I left that job in June 2014 and since July 2014 I'm working in my current profile which is similar to the old one, barring couple of changes. I have not used the current job experience of 3.5 years as I do not want to disclose about my intention to move to Canada to my current employer/management. Now, what documents, if at all I need, i have to show for my current employment. I have appointment letter, salary slips and bank statements.

You will need a job reference letter which has the following:
a reference or experience letter from the employer, which

• should be an official document printed on company letterhead (must include the applicant’s name, the company’s contact information [address, telephone number and email address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company),
• should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits

Since you cannot get it officially, you can ask a colleague, supervisor to give you a reference letter on a plain paper and you can have it notarized. Then you can ass your salary slips, appointment letter etc and explain in LoE.


2. I used to put my savings in my parents' account and have a total of 4.5 lacs. My wife has another 2 lacs. But for two people, I need to have a total of about 8.5 lacs. Since I'm short of 2 lacs, I would borrow it from a family member. Now, the 4.5 lacs would be transferred in my name this week. Would I face any issue for funds?

It’s outside the 10 year window. Having said that I edited my work history section and as proof I am adding my bank statement with salary credited listing. Would that be enough?

What you show in your personal history does not require any proof. So even if you show that you worked here, that will not matter as you are not claiming points for it.

Thank you so much for your kind reply I have one more question I was suffering from TB in 2008 and now I'm negative: my question is after getting ITA can I ask the doctor to do the sputem test in the beginning itself ya I I have to go through the normal procedures and wait for any medical furtherance coming from CIC???

When you get your medical done, you will be given a medical sheet and ask a few questions which will have a questions about TB. Then the doctor will have to follow the protocol as per IRCC which is here:

So you need to talk to the physician and see what he advises.

Post ITA while filling out personal history, they don’t ask for specific dates. So here is my dilemma.

3 years back i went to Canada on visitor visa. I left my job on 5th June and took flight on 11 June , came back on 24th oct. so the stamp on my passport for departure is 11th June and for arrival is 24th October.
Once I came back I joined my a new job on 2 November. So personal history says till June I am employed, June till October I am on vacation and November onwards I have an employment.

My question is As my travel history would provide them with exact dates for Arrival and departure and work history would give them exact relieving and rejoining dates. Would CIC be asking about what I did from 5th June till 11th June before departure also what I did from 24 oct to 2 nov. if yes then how do I mention this on personal history section?

No need to worry about it. IRCC will not enquire into this detail. However, you can clarify this in LoE.

CoPR is the proof that your have been granted PR. You will have to show this with your passport when you land. It will come along with your Passport and visa.
