For a single person the low income cutoff is $ 24,328. <http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5256ETOC.asp#incometables> So I am not sure how you are computing 30K.

If you have no other dependents, like a wife who is not earning or children, you only have to show an income of $24,328.

Hope this helps!
Thank you
But one immigration consultant told me yesterday income for 2 persons includes me and my mom
They includes the person who is applying for parents or grand parents

If you already have an immigration consultant, then I wonder what you are doing here? Moreover, if that is what the consultant informed you, I wonder what kind of education and licensing he has.

The link I provided you clearly states:

Effective from January 1 to December 31, 2016

Your child or grandchild may use the following income scale to assess their ability to meet the income requirements.

Low Income Cut-Off (LICO)
Size of Family Unit Minimum necessary income
1 person (your child or grandchild)$24,328

This means that if your family size is of 1 (i.e. only YOU) your income should be at least $24,328.
Similarly, if your family size is if two people (YOU + 1) then your need $30,286 to apply for a supervisa.

Now if someone has some other interpretation of it, especially a consultant, he is not worth it.

Now I am studying diploma in Canada, in express entry education section there is a question

Standing at the end of study period ?
for this they have 3 options
a. in good standing
b.degree awarded
c. not completed.

For this question should I select option (C) as degree is not yet completed or should I select (B) ?

If you are still studying, i.e. you have not yet completed the requirements then you have to chose (c). If you have completed the requirements, but are waiting for the diploma to be awarded, you will have to chose (a).

Immigration Consultant is right. You have to have LICO for you +1 whom you support for Supervisa.

Usually an email is sent to the email id on your file. If you are from a visa exempt country, the email will have instructions on the next steps.

I disagree. If you could provide me with the source of interpretation. What your interpretation is would work where the family is concerned when filing the EE application, but for supervisa, that is not the case since the parent or grandparent is not counted in the size of Family Unit.

This also due to the fact that the applicant has to show the proof of purchase of an insurance plan of CAD $ 100,000 which would cover hospitalization, medication and repatriation. With these extra financial responsibilities, the LICO is what is shown in the table as one person for a family of one sponsoring their parent or grandparent for the supervisa.

Hi legalfalcon, you can see my time line in my signature and also my notes's result,My BG check is in progress since June 30,and according to my gcms notes my assignment application due date was 11 November but didn't hear anything in due date.So what do you think my bg check again goes to not needed at this time and in progress again before PPR?
Any advice

The child or grandchild in Canada that is inviting you is not married and has no children. He or she has invited one parent to visit Canada for a two-year stay. The family size is two.

Hi Legalfalcon
I am in process of filing my application for PR. I have couple of questions if you can help me with please.
1. My wife has foreign work experience in which she is not eligible for points on CRS. I still included her experience in the EE profile and got the documents checklist generated, however I found difficulty finding NOC that matches what she does, so put the closest. Do you think there will be risk of rejection if her duties don't match the NOC although she is not the primary applicant and I haven't claimed points for the experience? what do you advise?

2. My wife was born in Venezuela, she lived there when she was below 18 years, turn 18 there but left 4 months after that she left and never been there again. Although IRCC website, clearly says PCC are required for countries lived in for more than 6 months since age of 18, this is a unique case I believe. So she lived there for more than 6 months, but only 4 months since age of 18. Now, I am trying to get PCC from there, but it seems to be impossible. Do you think it will be required with the application?

3. For my degrees, I have Masters with ECA. Do I need to upload the Bachelor and high school as well?

Thanks and Regards,

Dear Legalfalcon,

Is it mandatory to file schedule 4 along with ITA for a PNP applicant.

I have not filed it but yes I have forwarded my nomination certificate along with me LOE. would that suffice or will they send request for additional documents to me.

Thanks and regards
