Hi

Thank you for your reply.

Also last time I called CIC which was before my file transferred to SGVO they said my Eligibility and Security is not done.

I have already ordered GCMS notes. I will be getting it within 35 days. The tracking number given to me is it a number for Tracking GCMS Notes?

Regards

The MyCIC status of IP1 NA2 etc do not correlate with what stage your application has passed. It is important to know if your eligibility is cleared, which only GCMS notes can tell you. Further, even the eligibility takes place in 2 stages, first by a case analyst and then by an Officer.

To read on different stages see https://www.getgcms.com/blog/express-entry-application-processed/

If your application has bene transferred to LVO, then the eligibility will be finalized there, or it must have been finalized before being transferred. no harm in getting GCMS notes.

Hi legalfacon,

Sorry to bother you again. I'm in IP2 since last Friday and I just called CIC today. I asked the agent if I passed the security check also did they send me PPR. The agent told me security check is passed, everything looks good.but no PPR yet. I asked the agent if my application is approved and she said no but it looks very positive. Does that mean it's waiting for the "senior" officer's final review? Ahh this may sound like a silly question but the anxiety is killing me. I heard that people received PPR within a day after IP2. Thank you in advance.

Hi Legalfalcon,

I have submitted my application for PR. I mentioned 2 companies that I worked for. Now, when I view my submitted application, I can see that company 1 docs are placed at company 2 location and vice versa. Can you please suggest me what to do? should I call them or raise something? Any link to raise complaint?

Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone,
Please I need your input regarding my situation. I got an additional document request to submit 6-months pay slips and bank statements showing salary, employees contract, offer letter for my previous job. I have every document except bank statements showing salary, as my salary was paid in cash. Can anyone advice on the best way to go about this?

Thanks LegalFalcon.
It was not in anticipation but I was planning to move from my current job. Since the PR is being processed, kinda wanted it not to suffer coz of the move. So I can move and notify them after that regardless of a PPR or not
Followup to a previous question where I planned to move from my current country of residence and I get my PPR at the same time. How will I notify IRCC of the change? through email or a CSE ? IF its email what would be the email address?

Hi Legalfalcon,

I have a very typical query.

I got married few months back. My wife has only first name (given name) in all her docs, including passport. Thus, I prepared my marriage certificate mentioning her first name only. Moreover, I also included her first name in my passport as spouse’s name and she included mine, using the recently created marriage certificate. Now, using her current passport and all other docs, I can apply for PR visa with only one part of her name, and as per CIC, that won’t be an issue and our PR can be processed easily.

However, recently while scanning through various online forums regarding post landing docs, I came to know that “Health Card” in Canada cannot be processed only with single part of the name (that is both: Given Name and Family Name is required). Also, many applicant, who have this issue, were forced to apply for a name change in Canada before applying for Health card, and subsequently all their immigration document, such as: PR card, SIN, Driving License were changed. I would like to know: if it is possible to proceed with only Given Name in Canada and get all the benefits of a permanent resident or that would cause any issue as described above.

Please note: I have just received ITA and I am in the process of document collection. Since, I have yet not applied, in case my wife’s name is going to cause issues in future, I can modify her name in her passport and add my family name as her family name . But, again as her name in marriage certificate and rest of the docs would remain as her maiden name, I want to double check, if this change would lead to any future confusion in Canada or not.

Please suggest the best possible solution to this matter. I would like to avoid any future confusion. Thus, seeking your help in this matter.

Waiting for an early response from your end.

Thanks,
PKS
I am not sure where you got the info from. Because, the health card is issued based on the identity documents you have and is province specific. Can you provide me with a link where you got this information and I can look further into it.

Hi @legalfalcon

Can inland applicants travel out of Canada with their COPR and then re-enter via the airport to have their permanent resident visa processed? Or is it mandatory that you do it at one of the immigration offices or at the border?

Thanks
That is called flag polling. So when you get the COPR and visa, you can take your car and go to the closest border and exit Canada. If you have US visa you can enter US, if not you can ask the officer that you want to turn back. When you enter Canada, you will inform the officer that you are there to do your landing formalities as a PR and they will do the processing.

Find your closest border crossing and see when they are open.

The tracking number issued by IRCC is a 45 digit number. There is no online tracking provided by IRCC, but the tracking number is used to find the status if the notes are not delivered within 30 days.

Yes, it is pending a final review and as soon as it is done, you will have the PPR. Not all applications are same and each is a different one. Just have patience and soon you will have the PPR.

This is very common, nothing to worry as long as all your documents are uploaded. No need to do anything.

Just submit what you have and for what you don't explain it in a LoE.
