Thank you legalfalcon for your clarification.

So for now I don't have to inform IRCC about my current address and phone number in my home country? and what if I got PPR from Ottawa while I'm still in my country?

Thanks.
If you receive a PPR, and you would like to submit the passport at the VI in your home country you can inform IRCC and ask for the VO change. Or you can fly back and submit the passport when you return to Canada, depending on your situation.

Thanks dear,. One more ques
At what stage we can see ss in notes ? My last notes generated on 17 july does nt hv ss any where. So is there any possibility to get ss at this stage? Today i hv ordered new notes.
SS usually shows up when eligibility is in progress and has been reviewed by at least a case analyst. The best way to see is to find if your BGC and FOSS search has started.

Thank you Sir, for your reply.
So does that mean that SINP might provide me the nomination, and then I need to demonstrate my eligibility in APR?
I am asking that question because I am thinking to reappear in IELTS in 14th October, And I am confident that I will get CLB8 comfortably. Which will lead to the score of 68 in FSW.
Then I will upload my latest IELTS score in Express Entry profile and then I can satisfy the FSW requirement. So, is there any drawback in my thinking process?
What I want to know is that at least I can get the nomination from SINP, right?
If you applied to SNIP, you may get a nomination, but when you accept the nomination and file your application through the express entry, you will have to demonstrate that you meet the CRS and the MEC.

You can definitely re-take the language test and if that lets you meet the MEC, you will be fine.

The eligibility takes place in 2 steps, first a program analyst will review the documents and then make a recommendation, then this recommendation will be reviewed by an IRCC officer, who will make a final determination. Only after the final determination has been made will the BGC start. Unfortunately, the MyCIC updates do not help you ascertain which stage you are at.

To read on different stages see https://www.getgcms.com/blog/express-entry-application-processed/

To know the stages and the exact status, you should consider GCMS notes.

For the MyCIC status message, there does not seem anything wrong with the application. You can wait it out and it seems that if the eligibility is passed the BGC will start soon.

@legalfalcon,

What does it mean if my notes says: Officer Review: FOSS Completed: No adverse information. Based on information for last 10 years: No concerns x2?

Thank you again!

Hi @legalfalcon, that is a question from a friend.
He has the following work letters under same NOC:
- Job 1: 2/3/2011-13/3/2012.
- Job 2: 21/2/2012-14/2/2014.
As you can see there is an overlap between the two full-time jobs 21/2/2012-13/3/2012.
1- How should this be handled while creating the EE profile? Job 1: 3/2011-3/2012 and Job 2: 2/2012-2/2014 or Job 1: 3/2011-2/2012 and Job 2: 2/2012-2/2014?
2- After the ITA, his "actual" first day at Job 2 is 28/2/2012 which is not written anywhere in the letters. Should this be a concern? What to write in the LoE?
This is a tricky situation as when a person claims that he is doing two jobs at the same time, it would mean putting in 16 hours of work a day, which is practically impossible and raises concerns. However, if you can justify this, by stating that the applicant left one jib, but the job reference shows him employed and he started another job, so the overlap.

In the LoE just explain the facts and how you can resolve the issue.

Thank you legalfalcon.

So informing IRCC and asking for the VO change after receiving PPR is not a problem? I heard that IRCC take up to 20 days to reply and they only give 30 days for the PPR, and I also heard that I must inform IRCC of any change in my mailing address and phone number as soon as possible.
I am also afraid that if I informed IRCC of my current mailing address and phone number in my home country, this will cause a change in my VO and delay my application, is that true?

Thanks.

Hello LegalFalcon,
A question regarding the travel documents. Am currently in US on H1 visa. However the H1 visa stamped in my passport expired last month. But I have renewed the visa and have the extension papers. Should I upload the visa extension papers also along with the travel document ? Please advice.

Thanks,
Sasi

There is nothing dumb especially when you are making the most important decision of your life.

As regards downloading, there is no form to be downloaded when filling post ITA application, unless you are filling paper based application.
Thanx a lot :)

@legalfalcon need your advice
Has your eligibility passed, that is the main question. IP2 by itself does not mean eligibility passed, you can call IRCC or order GCMS notes and see what stage your are at. After IP2 most applicants get PPR, but that depends on when your eligibility was cleared.

Field Operations Support System (FOSS) is the database which is searched, and based on the search there is no adverse information. and x2 refers to that the search was done for 2 people on the application.

No, it is no problem. IRCC does take time in replying, but a new date is given when the request is approved. If you have changed your address and moved permanently, it is your responsibility to inform IRCC. This does not impact the processing of your application.
