The best time to order 45-50 days post submission. Then based on what you get, you can order more to see the progress.

When you request GCMs notes, it takes 30 days for them to generate. They are usually generated 1-2 weeks before they are released.

Eg. if you order them on 1 august, they will be delivered on August 30. They will pertain to you application and capture the details around August 15-20.
Thank you LegalFalcon :)

Hi Legalfalcon! Need your help..

I received this email yesterday and cic has given a week for response.
THE EXACT VERBATIM IN THE MAIL IS AS FOLLOWS:

Schedule A: A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature. A newly completed Schedule A with details for Address History is required for the dates June 2016-July 2017 . Please refer to the website below
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5669E.pdf

I do not understand the reason behind this query.I got married in June 2016 and i moved in with my partner and we are living in the same place till date. I have mentioned my address accurately. The only thing is that on my PCC the same address is mentioned but they have omitted the road name. Could that be why there is a query?
There are no gaps in my address section.

Kindly Help!

Also should i fill out the entire form or I should only give the address for the asked duration?

Hi Legalfalcon,
Sincere Apologies for mistake in misspelling your name.

Continuation to my thread - In Denmark on WP from Oct 2008 till Feb 2010 and multiple visit to india for short duration, I want to add that it will be really tough to find those details exactly accurate as i lost the passport in between. I just made one entry stating i was in Denmark from this date to this date and In personal activity also.
But as you mentioned, i need to break it up due to multiple trips between India and Denmark, is it ok if the dates are here and there or if i miss any trip ?

Thanks..
The dates need not be exact and approximate dates would work just fine.

You need to fill the entire form. This is a regular request, nothing to be concerned about. Many applicants receive it and it is usually when there is a gap in what you entered, or if IRCC may have certain concerns, they ask for this.

Just go ahead and submit it at the earliest.

Thanks for replying! I am sure that there are no gaps in my application. I do not understand what to correct. My concern is that I may end up filling the same details again as i filled in the earlier application and the query may not be resolved

People, order GCMS, they are indeed helpful!!
Anybody knows, if we land in Toronto (destination Ottawa) and the layover is 2h, I suppose immigration will do their "landing checks" in Toronto. Is it enough time, or should I book a flight that lands directly in Ottawa?

If your work expiring is out of Canada while you were a student, you can count that towards work experience.
Dear @legalfalcon,
In APR they asked for the date I first became qualified to practice in this occupation
My NOC is 1123 and in the Employment Requirements of this NOC they say:
A university degree or college diploma in business marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, museology or a discipline related to a particular subject matter is usually required. (link http://noc.esdc.gc.ca/English/noc/Profile.aspx?val=0...)

So if they count my work experience while being a full-time student Out of Canada, would this date matter?
In my case, I worked full-time for 2 months (in the total duration of 7 months) before the date my bachelor degree was issued. Will this be a problem to CIC? Will they only deduct those 2 months or the whole 7 months of my experience if they don’t accept work experience before graduation date? If they deduct those 2 months, my CRS (by the time I received ITA) would stay the same but if they deduct the whole 7 months, my CRS (by the time I received ITA) would be affected. Thank you so much for you advice.

Dear @legalfalcon:

I need your advise on the personal history section. I have three post secondary degrees: a Bachelor of Science, a Bachelor of Arts, and a Master of Arts (Presently doing M.Phil. but as yet incomplete). Now, the duration of Bachelor of Science was from 2000 to 2004, and while studying for this degree as a regular student, I also did Bachelors of Arts as a private candidate (2001-2003), and then studied Master of Arts (2003-2005) as a regular student. So, the time periods of the three degree overlap with each other. Is that alright? What do you think?

Start date End date Activity Name of company, employer school, facility 1999-03-12 2000-06-02 Studying ABC School
2000-06-03 2000-09-24 unemployed
2000-09-25 2004-02-27 Studying DEF University
2001-09-19 2003-08-31 Studying XYZ University
(Private student)
2003-11-10 2005-09-06 Studying XYZ University
2005-09-07 2007-02-11 Unemployed
2007-02-12 current Working XYZ University
2007-02-12 current Member of University Teachers
Organization
2017-03-16 current Studying XYZ University

Please advise if the overlapping dates, especially while studying for different degrees is alright? Thank you.

It will not matter. You have to meet the CRS and the MEC. To know what they are, read my post here - https://www.getgcms.com/blog/express-entry-application-processed/

Read eligibility.

To know about how FSW is met - see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp

Make your decision based on this.
But .. if I Change my primary NOC Code (from 2171 to 2173).. do you think it will be an issue or misinterpretation case between pre ITA and post ITA profile?

IRCC states the following for the work experience requirement:

The applicant must have accumulated at least one year of continuous full-time (or the equivalent in part-time) paid work experience in the occupation identified in their application for permanent residence as their primary occupation. In calculating this period of work experience, the occupation must be listed in skill type 0 (Managerial occupations), skill level A (Professional occupations) or skill level B (Technical occupations and skilled trades) of the National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2011 [R75(2)(a)].

The applicant’s skilled work experience must also

  • have occurred within the ten years preceding the date of their application for permanent residence; and
  • not be in an occupation that has been designated as a restricted occupation.
Note: At the time of publication, no occupations were designated as restricted.

In addition, during that period of employment, the applicant must have

  • performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC [R75(2)(b)]; and
  • performed a substantial number of the main duties, including all of the essential duties, of the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC [R75(2)(c)].
Note: The applicant does not need to demonstrate that they meet the “employment requirements” listed in the NOC occupational description.

If you read the last line, it clearly states that that the employment requirements are not required to be met, such as education qualifications. What matters is the job duties.
