Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi LegalFalcon,

I recently got divorced - I was Legally Separated at the time of filing my application.
Would sending the divorce certificate be sufficient, or do i have to change my application?

My application (CEC - from India) was submitted on July 10th, and is currently undergoing background verification.

Thanks in advance.

Hi legalfalcon,
I submitted my application with out the fbi clearance, I attached an explanation letter and they gave me 60 days just like you said they would :) now I need to know does that mean that they are not going to process my application until I send the fbi clearance???
Thanks
The processing will start, but since one of the essential documents is missing, they will not clear it to the next stage. As soon as you receive the FBI clearance, make sure you send it across. This will not hurt your application, but you may have 2-3 weeks of extra processing time before your get your final decision.

plz help ... Urgent
My employer helped me providing LMIA TO SUPPORT PR that is work permit exempt and as i was having a 7-8 months left on my Work permit that i got after graduating from canada .. so my Lmia never supported my Work permit and now just last week i got my bridge open work permit approve and my LMIA expired last month as LMIA was only valid from feb to aug
So that means now my LMIA not support my job but when i applied at that time it supported me
is it an issue ?
Please help ..
ACCORDING TO RECENT GCMS NOTES
CRIMINALITY MEDICAL AND ELIGIBILITY IS PASSED AND BG IS IN PROGRESS FROM 18TH AUGUST
IS EXPIRED LMIA CAN CAUSE ANY TROUBLE ??
No, if you received the BOPW before your LIMA expired you are good and now you can work in anywhere as you have an open work permit which will be valid until a decision is made on your file. Just relax and you will have a decision soon.
PLEASE HELP I AM SCARED

Hi Legalfalcon
Please can you advise me
I am SINP EE I was rejected in July 2016 by IRCC AS I did not include a letter from my employer which listed my duties. I created a new profile and asked the province to revise my nomination to my new profile
I have now received ITA From IRCC, but my NOC 2211 is no longer available, in that NOC 2211 is no longer on the SINP demand list. My nomination certificate is still valid till January 2017
Do you think I will be rejected by IRCC based on NOC no longer in the demand list
Hope to hear from you
Won't quit
I don't get you, did the province issue you a revised nomination. If they did, you are all good. As the provincial nomination is done on the day you enter the pool and once you receive it, it has a date until which it is valid and you have to apply before that date. In your case since you have a new profile, and if the province re-issued you the previous nomination to your new profile, no need to worry.

Hi legal falcon

I am cec inland aor april 23. I got an update from our representative on our EE PR apps.

Eligibility: in progress
Medical: passed
Sched 4 interview: not needed as this time
Background check: not started
Final decision: Not started

My question is do i need to worry with my update since my eligibility is still in progress? Can i apply for bowp my wp will expires on oct 5. Your reply and inputs are very much appreciated
No need to worry, you are way wishing the processing times. As regards the BOWP, you will need the GCMS notes to ensure that in your application has completed one of the following APR stages:
I. electronic application for permanent residence (e‑APR) submitted under Express Entry has passed the R10 completeness check;

Most likely you have clear the R10 stage, however it is always advisable to have the GCMS notes. However, you can go ahead and file your BOWP application as I am sure your R10 is complete which is usually done in the first month itself. But, getting GCMS will provide you with a definite answer.

Thanks

Hello Legalfalcon , any feedback on my notes i sent to you
I am sorry, I was in the middle of moving to Canada, then fell sick and had to go back to the US. I just got back and settled in. Hopefully, now I will have enough time to revert back to any questions or read the GCMS notes.

Please help I am very tense.
FOSS is the Field Operations Support System, a computer database that has millions of profiles of people who have entered Canada, or in any way came into the system. Sometimes the FOSS gives false alarm as your name could match another person who has violated the immigration laws in Canada or has committed some fraud. You can't do much at this stage except was and they will get back to you. I would advise you not to stress out, just wait and if you have not committed any crime, or violated any immigration laws, you are all god. Do order a set go GCMS notes.

Hope this helps!

If your have not added your ex in the applications as a dependent, sending the divorce certificate will suffice and if the IRCC needs anything more they will let you know.

Fellows,

I was in India for a while, got back and then moved to Canada and then starting a life in a new country got me pretty busy. I also fell sick and had to fly back to the US as my Canadian insurance does mandate a "waiting period."

In all, I am pretty much settled in and will try to answer your questions. I apologize for the delay in getting back.

Hopefully some of you who posted he on the forum in my absence have seen some movement in your application and are closer then ever in getting your PPR.
