Hope all is well. My background check changed to Not Applicable on June 18th, but nothing else has been updated on my profile. I am PNP-Inland applicant with March 18th AOR. Is it normal for background check to update without medicals updating first? I was just under the impression it followed a certain sequence.

Usually the BGC will go to not applicable from not started to not started then in progress. However, for PNP applicant, some applicants see the BGC go in progress fairly early in the processing stage.

The best way to know is by GCMS. The changes on MyCIC are a mere speculation.

There will be no problem. You will have to declare that you work for the government and IRCC may ask you to give details of your postings. A lot of people who have served in active military duty, apply for immigration and successfully do so. Just that they have to provide more details of their deployment, training and have a stringent BGC.

No. The PoF has to be in the format asked by IRCC which states:

Document requirements

• The applicant should provide an official letter(s) from one or more financial institutions that lists all current bank and investment accounts as well as outstanding debts, such as credit card debts and loans.
  • o The letter(s) must be printed on the letterhead of the financial institution and must include the applicant’s name, the contact information of the financial institution (address, telephone number and email address), the account numbers, the date each account was opened and the current balance of each account as well as the average balance for the past six months.
• Other documents may also be requested, as necessary.

Actually i have only one FD that contains sufficient funds. It is in Post office India.
They have provided me a balance certificate on their official letterhead and stamp that lists all the details.
But nothing else (no separate account summary etc.)

Is it sufficient ??

No,
you will need a letter from the post master in the format IRCC wants. So meet the post master or the head post master and request them to give you the letter. Most likely they will not have a letter head, but ask them to write it on paper, and stamp it with the telephone number and contact details of the person stamping it.

The best would be to take a typed letter and ask them to sign it. Also attach the certificate along with the letter. In case you just cannot get the letter then you can submit the certificate and attach the LoE explaining.

Dear Seniors

Urgent help required. I am currently in IP2 stage. I received a request last week to upload a copy of my passport with 6 months validity. I uploaded my renewed passport's front page (biographical) along with visa stamps but forgot to include the last page (address page- with old passport number info).

Will this be a reason for rejection?

This morning I raised a CSE with the Address page (last page). In addition I raised a cse in may as well as in June with my renewed passport details which included the last page.

Your help and guidance at this stage will be much appreciated.
