Hope you are doing well & thank you for always helping others.

I have this question for you, can you please take time to look into it & please suggest?

I got reference letter from H.R. which doesn't have roles & responsibilities & exact start date of my position, instead it states when i joined company. I was promoted to skilled level job but as i said it doesn't states exact date of it.

I have copy of email conversation between myself, hr & my marketing manager who asked hr to give ref letter as per cic requirements.

Eventually, my marketing manager gave me letter as per cic requirements except it's not on letterhead, but he attached his company card & contact details like company email & cell no.

I also attached paystubs & t4's.

Will this work?

Can you get more reference letters from your colleagues, supervisors, or clients. Even though this will help, if you can have 1-2 more letters that state that you have the same job duties, and these letters can be on a plain paper, preferably notarized that would be enough.

You should also submit a LoE to explain this situation.

Thanks. Just one more question. I had applied both for work permit and PR. Now i have received my work permit and would be entering Canada on the same while PR is pending. So, once i come to Canada what intimation i need to give to CIC such as address update etc otherwise they would keep considering my VO as NDVO. And how to intimate?

When you enter Canada on a work permit, you will need to inform IRCC of the change of address and let them know of your status in Canada. You can do this online.

Also raise a CSE and and send them a copy of your work permit and the landing stamp in Canada.

The documents you have are sufficient, but to corroborate have additional documents from anyone, even a colleague helps make the case stronger. In you case the email conversation will be helpful. If you can, get the letter notarized. If possible.

When an organization refuses to give the job duties, what you have done is sufficient. But I always advise to go with 2-3 letters from colleagues or supervisors. This helps in corroboration of what you state.

Should i renew my child's passsport before ppr?

If so, how to inform cic about the new passport.

The validity is 6 months. If you do get the passport renewed you can raise a CSE and send the scanned copies of the document.

Confusion regarding validity arised due to few posts i read today, who got ppr very recently...They mentioned about a change in validity from 10th june 2017 onwards....

I don't go what people say. If there is a link, show it, or a document to back it up. Last I checked it was 6 months.

Many countries won't even renew a passport if the current one is valid for more than 6 months.

Use the in Canada link.

The change of address is different from the CSE. You will have to do it separately.

Yes. If it has been a long time, you should call and send email.

3) Also, what is the best time to request GSMS notes?
45 days after AoR, by this time R10 is clear and eligibility may be under review.

4) We applied for PR with PNP nomination with expired in May. Should we request the province for nomination extension?
No need for an extension from the Province as the date on which you sent the application, your application was locked and even if the PNP nomination expired, it will not effect your application.

I emailed CPC-Ottawa the other day and they have replied to say that my application is no longer at their offices and has been transferred to my LVO (Pretoria). I have had no update in my CIC profile with BG been stuck on NS since early March.

They also mentioned that I should pay the RPRF which I did yesterday (although it was mentioned in the body of the email and wasn't an official request form such as others have received).

Can someone please give me an indication as to what stage my application is at as well as a ball park figure for when I can expect PPR from this point?

What do you mean by "wasn't an official request"? Did you get it via email from a CIC email id?
