Hi

FSW-O
AOR : 27 May

2 months ago I had a herniated disc which I mentioned to the doctor in the upfront medical exam, but when submitting my profile I answered No when asked if I've ever had a serious condition.
I'm doing well now and so was I when I had the medical exam.

Should I have answered Yes ?

Should I raise a web form and explain or no need ?

Thanks

@legalfalcon please reply: Do you know what it means When GCMS notes under biometric section says "error/cancelled". and what can be done to resolve this?

I have not received BIL. and I need to give them as I have never given them before.
There is nothing that needs to be done from your end. The notes will have such entries based on inputs from the officer, which may be incorrect and are corrected.

I would like to ask: I applied 3 months ago for a study permit and work permit for my husband from Colombia, my husband was asked for an additional document which is the form imm0150 details of the police service, since he is retired...the review of these additional documents began on May 8 and we have not yet received a response, however on the official website the time says 6 weeks and we have already been 13 weeks.
The official times are average times, based on your application it can take more as well.

If you have concerns about your application processing, you can request your GCMS notes to see what stage your application is at.

Hi,

I understand that you are concerned about whether you should have answered "Yes" to the question about whether you have ever had a serious condition on your FSW-O application. You mentioned to the doctor in the upfront medical exam that you had a herniated disc 2 months ago, but you answered "No" to this question on your application. You are now doing well and were also doing well when you had the medical exam.

I can't give you legal advice, but I can provide you with some information that may be helpful.

The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) website states that "you must answer all questions on your application honestly and completely." The IRCC also states that "if you have ever had a serious condition, you must disclose it on your application."

A herniated disc is a serious condition that can cause pain, numbness, and weakness in the back and legs. It is important to disclose any serious medical conditions on your immigration application, as this information may be used to assess your eligibility for permanent residency.

If you are concerned about whether you should have answered "Yes" to the question about whether you have ever had a serious condition, you may want to raise a web form and explain the situation to the IRCC. You can do this by clicking on the "Contact Us" button on the IRCC website and selecting the "Web Form" option.

When you raise a web form, you will be asked to provide your contact information and to explain the situation in detail. You should also include any relevant medical documentation.

The IRCC will review your web form and will contact you if they have any further questions.

I hope this information is helpful.

Hi,
Is Address history and Travel history is required in OINP HCP Submission.
Received NOI on 8th May.

Thanks
Yes, address history and travel history are required in OINP HCP Submission. You must provide a detailed list of all of your previous addresses and travel destinations for the past 10 years. This information is important for the OINP to assess your ties to your home country and your intention to return after your employment in Canada.

Here is a list of the information that you need to provide for each address and travel destination:
  • Address: The full address, including the street name, city, province, and postal code.
  • Dates: The dates that you lived at this address or visited this destination.
  • Purpose: The reason for your stay at this address or visit to this destination.
  • If you were employed at this address, provide the name of your employer and your job title.
  • If you were studying at this address, provide the name of your school and your program of study.
  • If you were visiting this destination as a tourist, provide the activities that you participated in.
If you have any gaps in your address or travel history, you must explain why. For example, if you were unemployed for a period of time, you must explain why.

You must also provide documentation to support your address and travel history. This documentation could include things like lease agreements, bank statements, or travel itineraries.

The OINP will use the information that you provide to assess your ties to your home country and your intention to return after your employment in Canada. If the OINP is not satisfied with the information that you provide, they may refuse your application.

Here are some tips for providing accurate and complete address and travel history information:
  • Be sure to include all of your previous addresses and travel destinations for the past 10 years.
  • Be as specific as possible when providing the dates that you lived at an address or visited a destination.
  • Provide the purpose for your stay at each address or visit to each destination.
  • If you were employed or studying at an address, provide the name of your employer or school.
  • If you were visiting a destination as a tourist, provide the activities that you participated in.
  • If you have any gaps in your address or travel history, be sure to explain why.
  • Provide documentation to support your address and travel history.
By providing accurate and complete address and travel history information, you can increase your chances of success in your OINP HCP application.

Yes, only the primary applicant is required to share their ECA result with OINP. The accompanying spouse does not need to share their ECA result.
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) requires all primary applicants to have an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) from a recognized organization. The ECA will assess the applicant's educational qualifications and compare them to Canadian standards.

The OINP does not require accompanying spouses to have an ECA. However, if the accompanying spouse has a foreign degree that is not recognized in Canada, they may need to have it assessed by a recognized organization.

I hope this helps!

Hi,
Thank you for the reply. Just want to clarify:

I am the secondary applicant and have already done ECA from WES. Now uploading my ECA (WES) while submitting the OINP application is all that I have to do?

I don't have to authorise WES to share the ECA report with OINP.?

Thanks in advance.

WES will not automatically share your ECA report with OINP when you upload it to your OINP application. You must authorize WES to share your ECA results with the OINP. To do this, you must order an 'Additional Report' and select the OINP as the recipient of the ECA.

If you do not authorize WES to share the information with the OINP, your application will be returned as incomplete and the application fee refunded. You will lose the opportunity to apply to the program unless you receive a new notification of interest from Ontario.

Hi,

I recently submitted my express entry fsw application. In order to submit and pay for fees, I had to withdraw some amount from my credit card and transfer it to the another card since my limit in one cc was not enough. This happened just minutes before submission. I did not declare this in my application. Also, I realized that I had some very small amount of credit card debt (emi) which I didnt declare too. I will clear these debts right away. Even if I clear them, is my not disclosing them on the date of application submission going to be considered as misrepresentation?
Your help is much appreciated.

Hi @legalfalcon,

I have gotten ADR for military records. I am an Indonesian living and working in Singapore. There is no mandatory military service in Indonesia, but Singapore has mandatory military service. However, since I am a foreigner in Singapore, I do not need to do any military service. I feel that the officer is confused since I am working in Singapore. So, for this ADR, what documents should I provide?
1. A letter describing an exemption for military service from Indonesian police. I am not sure I can get this since there is no mandatory military service in Indonesia.
2. A letter describing an exemption for military service from Singapore police. I am not sure I can get this since I am not even a Singapore citizen.
Is it 1 or 2? or both? Should I just write an LOE for 2?
I only have PCC for Singapore since I have never lived in Indonesia continuously more than 6 months after 18 years old.

Since you are an Indonesian living and working in Singapore but not a Singapore citizen, you are not required to serve in the Singapore military. Therefore, you do not need to provide a letter from the Singapore police describing an exemption for military service.

However, you may need to provide a letter from the Indonesian police describing an exemption for military service. This is because IRCC may be confused about your military service status since you are working in a country with mandatory military service.

You can also write a letter explaining your situation to IRCC. In this letter, you should explain that you are an Indonesian citizen, that there is no mandatory military service in Indonesia, and that you are not a Singapore citizen and therefore not required to serve in the Singapore military.
You should also provide a police clearance certificate (PCC) from Indonesia. This document will confirm that you have no criminal record and that you are not required to serve in the Indonesian military.

Here are some tips for getting a PCC from Indonesia:
  • Contact the Indonesian police in your area and request a PCC.
  • Provide your passport and identification number.
  • Pay the PCC fee.
  • The PCC will be issued within a few days.
Once you have obtained the required documents, you can submit them to IRCC as part of your ADR response.

I hope this helps!

Should I get a PCC from Indonesia if the ADR document never asks for that? I have never lived in Indonesia continuously for 6 months since I am 18 years old.
