Hello @legalfalcon, I have AOR April 11. My MEP is passed but I haven't received Biometric yet. I have read on this forum that people who did not received it with MEP or a week later or before MEP had to wait for months.

Can I do something in this case? Do I have to worry about it as everyone got their along with MEP.

I am FSW-O and never gave BIO in past.
Have you provided biometrics before? Biometrics are valid for 10 years. IF you have provided biometrics before, you may not need to provide them again.

See https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/biometrics.asp

hi @legalfalcon can you tell me upto how much amount of the total proof of funds required for fsw can be made up by a gift deed ?
It can be any amount. There is no cap on how much PoF can be via gift. As long as you have the funds, can show the source, that is all what is required.

Hi @legalfalcon

Hi,

I know someone who married after he got Copr and informed IRCC about his wedding. But when he applied for PR he was single and before he landed he raised a webform and said he is married and informed IRCC he is getting married in Feb.

He got a response from IRCC after the webform -

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We verified the information you provided and can confirm that it is not necessary to provide additional documentation if you do not currently have an application in process with IRCC.

Since a final decision was already made on your application, the information you provided will not be added to your file.

If applicable, we invite you to include this information when you submit a new application.

He has landed here now and told cbsa he is married and told them as well that he submitted a webform but CBSA took his passport and copr. Can you please advise what are the possible scenarios? What are the possible outcomes in such case?

Any help is appreciated.
I do not work on scenarios or cases based on hearsay.

This is a serious issue, and "someone" should contact a lawyer immediately.

Hi @legalfalcon - I got my PR card recently and currently I am in Canada. Now I am going to sponsor my spouse. In my PR application (Express Entry), under my spouse's family information - I had mentioned his brother's Date of birth as: 12-Apr-1981. However, his brother's actual date of birth is: 12-Apr-1982. So, now while applying for my spouse's PR application, should I enter the correct DOB and write a letter of explanation about it? That it's in error? Will this anyway impact my PR status as well as my spouse's PR application? Please advise on how to move forward.
Always enter the correct information. IF there is a discrepancy, you can address it in an LoE and provide documentation.

Thanks for replying @legalfalcon . I have never provided BIO in past and iam required to give it this time. I have also paid the upfront fees for it. Everyone seems to receive it with MEP.

Now its been 20 days since I passed MEP and 42 days since my AOR, but no BIL yet. What should I do?

Hi @legalfalcon ,

We have a question regarding my nephew's PR (CEC inland) application. His Aor is April 2023

He got a request for Schedule A on May 3rd and he submitted it on May 9th successfully. The GC Key system shows it as uploaded.

Today, he has got a request for Schedule A again in his GC Key. The wordings are exactly the same as last time . We are really lost what to do now. We have listed all information in the Schedule A to the best of our knowledge.

- We do not know the reason for this. Was the file not loaded correctly? Any advice/insights will be most helpful.

- Should we load the same Schedule A file again? Should we looking for some errors to correct? We are unsure how to proceed.

Please help with your expert advice.

Also hoping to call IRCC and check on the reason. But getting through to speak to an agent is so tough

@legalfalcon hey, I have a question:

I have done upfront medicals in October and submitted my PR application with it in October 2022 too, and now yesterday I received a request for imm1017. The IME this request mentions is not the same as is the e-medial Information Sheet I provided in October. Does it mean I have to do re-medical or it some kind of a mistake from their side?

Thanks in advance, much appreciated!!

Hi Sir,

My Express entry profile was created by agency and recently I received NOI from OINP.

Now only I got access to my profile. But upon checking my profile, I found that the consultant had given wrong details for my passport - the country of issuance is given wrong.

Since I received NOI, now how can I update and transmit the passport details in EE Profile?

Please help..
Thanks

Hey Guys, one question.
I've received my PR card. I now want to amend my eCOPR as it has wrong original entry date. If I apply to amend eCOPR, will that affect validity of my PR card? In other words, will I face any issues when I re-enter Canada as eCOPR is getting amended?

Hi,

I understand that you are concerned about the incorrect passport details in your Express Entry profile. I can help you with this.

Here are the steps on how to update and transmit your passport details in your EE Profile:
  1. Log in to your Express Entry profile.
  2. Click on the "Update form" button for the "Passport" section.
  3. Enter the correct details for your passport, including the country of issuance.
  4. Click on the "Save and exit" button.
  5. Click on the "Continue" button at the bottom of the page.
  6. Follow the instructions provided to submit your updated profile.
Once you have submitted your updated profile, it will be reviewed by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). If IRCC approves your updated profile, you will be invited to apply for permanent residence.

Please note that you cannot update your passport details after you have been invited to apply for permanent residence. If you need to update your passport details after you have been invited to apply, you will need to withdraw your application and start the process again.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi Sir, One doubt.

My profile has expired and created a new one last year. Now I have received NOI from Ontario recently.
But i had a doubt now. While creating, i have given "Yes" to both question mentioned below.
Have you applied to Express Entry and IRCC Before ?

Is that okay or should i change ??

If Yes then what should write in Unique Client Identifier (UCI) ?

Please Help !
