Dear Asivad Anac,

I have added the intern experience, and the profile says submited. However, my score has not changed. I'm not sure whether this is due to technical issues, or I should wait longer for the score to rise or IRCC has treated this as an apprenticeship.

Thanks for your help!

Takes up to 24 hours.

Hi,

I am Indian citizenship and my passport is issued in Dubai. While filling my EOI, I had mentioned that the country of issuance is UAE, considering the next question was country of citizenship where I mentioned India. Now while reading up the forum, I realised I should have put India as country of issuance. Now that I am filling my ITA application, I am putting country of issuance as India. I am unable to amend my EOI details as it shows transmitted. But now that the information provided in EOI and ITA differ, would it suffice if I mention about the same in the letter of explanation. Any other option available?. Thanks for your assistance. Really feeling silly being in this situation.

Just write an LOE and you'll be good to go.

Hi Asivad,

I am an FSW-Outland Applicant.

My BKG status just changed to In Progress.

Is my application in some trouble or is it a good sign considering the fact that my AOR is 24 Nov and Meds Pass Date is 24 Nov.

Need your guidance on this.

Hard to say anything for sure without seeing the notes. Others have reported that BG changes from NS to NN and then back to NN or some such pattern.

Thanks for your quick reply.

MY background changed from NN-NS on Dec 01 and later from NS-NN on Dec02.

After that, today it changed to IP.

Hi Asivad,

Our's is kind of a strange situation if not unique!

My husband came to Canada on an ICT visa and I accompanied him on an Open Work Permit valid until March 2017.

In our PR application I am the primary and my husband is the accompanying spouse (FSW) and we received an ITA on 16th November. His company is in the process of renewing our VISAs currently. The problem is I recently got a job in Montreal and I and our one year old daughter shifted here, while he is still in Toronto as he is on a closed work permit.

Our current goal is to be with each other as soon as possible as it is monetarily but more emotionally a very tough situation. I was thinking if we don't renew our visas through his company and wait to get BOWP for both of us, then he would be free to look for a job in Montreal sooner than later.

Any suggestions would help?? Any options we can't think of?? Is his company renewing our VISAs the only option??

Also does my taking up a job in Montreal effect my intent for Express Entry in any way??

Thanks

Hi Asivad,

Do we need to inform IRCC about a job change even though i am not claiming any points for it? or should the same can be managed in personal history?

Thanks

If you are not claiming points for a job, then keep it out of the work history section and retain it only in the personal history section.
