I have residence in Toronto as well and the company I was employed by has mentioned in the offer letter that my base location is Toronto and I will be working for their client in Montreal......So in a way I have to maintain my mailing address as our Toronto address i.e. my husband continues to work there at least till our application is processed

Frankly speaking it is quite possible I move back to Toronto for some other client in the future.
You wouldn't have trouble if you can avoid mentioning Montreal anywhere in both your EE application and all supporting documentation.

Thanks Asivad!

My company has made me fill tax declaration form of Ontario in my joining formalities as they do not have office in Montreal.....But may be we will have to file in Quebec later in the year.....But should I mention my latest address as Quebec and keep the mailing address as Toronto.....I could mention I am on deputation in Montreal currently or should I jus not mention Montreal all together???

Avisad probably knows this but I wonder if by mentioning that you're currently living in Quebec you will eventually get a request to write a letter for intent to reside outside of Quebec.

Hello Asivad Anac, hope you can help me in figuring out this problem

I received Ontario PNP under NOC 2141. After ITA when I created check-list for PR I realized the job duties mentioned in the reference letter i have does not match with the job duties given in the NOC 2141 on CIC website. (only 1 bullet point is barely matching). Though my title is given in the NOC 2141 list of titles. I searched other NOCs to check for a match but unfortunately i could not find any suitable NOC matching my duties. Not sure what other options i have given the employer will not provide me a new letter ( they will not mention something I was not doing)

I am showing two work experiences

1. NOC 2141 : Jule 2013 to June 2015 - 2 years
2. NOC 2132: July 2006 to July 2011 - 5 years

There is no such problem of NOC/duty mismatch with the NOC 2132. I am contemplating if I can exclude NOC 2141 from PR application ( will mention it in the personal history). Not sure if PNP and PR can have different NOCs given I have used NOC 2141 experience during nomination.

Please advise

You do not have to be worried about these requirements so long as the work experience in question was gained outside of Canada.
Thanks for your help, rajkamalmohanram!

I did not know anything about "the letter for intent to reside outside of Quebec" before you mentioned it and I thought a lot about what I should do. I was reading that CIC strictly wants us to mention any change in address even if it is three weeks down the line.....I do not want to misrepresent so probably will have to mention my Quebec address but I will keep my mailing address as Toronto. If I get the letter of intent I will honestly state that my husband is in Toronto so there is no reason for me to stay here and my company does not have a office in Montreal and I am on deputation here.....And then leave it to my luck and judgement of the officer! I was so happy to finally have a job but did not know it will be at the cost of my PR application!

I started this discussion to check if my spouse can join me here but looks like we will have to live in different places after all! :(

You're still inside Canada and your spouse continue to live in Toronto so why risk jeopardizing your application by providing a Montreal address in the first place! Avoid getting the letter of intent and all the unnecessary explanations that would follow by just listing your address in Toronto. The physical mailing address of a person is NEVER used in the course of their PR application. NEVER.

If you would rather play roulette with your PR application, your call. Hope things work out well for you whatever you may choose.

All the best!

You can select any Primary NOC of your choice in your PR application. The only exception being if you applied to certain PN programs which have NOC restrictions. OINP is not one of them.

In your post ITA application, do the following.

1. Do NOT change the Primary NOC immediately.

2. Make sure that both set of work experiences show up under Work history.

3. Make sure that you have valid work reference letters for 2132 job.

4. Now change the Primary NOC to 2132.

5. This sequence would ensure that your profile doesn't accidentally become ineligible.

6. You can choose to leave that 2141 job as-is in Work history or move it to Personal history.

Thank you for the suggestion Asivad will surely do that.

In case i choose to keep the job 2141 in the work history i need provide all the supporting documents in the upload section as employment 2 record. and as explained above IRCCoffice might reject this job due to NOC/duty mismatch . Will it create a PR rejection issue later given my primary NOC is ok (2132 now).

Second is there any time frame they count the years of experience under FSW criteria as 2132 job was completed 5 years ago?

Thank you

That'll be irrelevant to this application.

Within last 10 years.

Thank you
