That should be okay, IMO but also make sure the designation matches on the other documents that you might be submitting (payslips/offer letter/promotion letter etc). As a general rule, what mostly matters is the roles and responsibilities rather than the title. In your case, like Asivad has already mentioned, the title is misleading but since the roles correspond to and match NOC 2174, I believe you are good to go!
Thanks for clarification rajkamalmohan. I am only submitting reference letter with complete details as per the requirement of CIC, do I really need to submit other document as well?

No. If your reference letter is exactly per IRCC format, you can submit only that. However, please be informed that you might be asked to submit payslips/other documentation in the future if the case officer sees the need.

Im having 20 months canadian experience
5 months from company A (jan 2015- may 2015)
15 months from company B (june 2016 - aug 2016)

-I applied for pr in feb 2016 and it got refused as i dont have strong connections with province of nomination.

-now my score is 495 (expecting ita soon).
My question is it ok to show experience from only company B under work experience ?

Note: I will show exp from company A & B under personal history

What is the 'overall equivalency' per your report?

I worked for 3 years under noc B while studying in london. Every year I worked 8 months part time and 4 months full time during holidays completing 1560hrs/year. Will this be counted as 3 yrs full time work exp?
Can anyone help me calculate my work experience please!

In that case, you have to settle for Bachelor's only. You cannot claim points for 2 or more degrees.
I have my ECS done for my diploma in E&C and then B.E with one year exemption.
So in my ECS Report shows Canadian Equivalency as Secondary school diploma and diploma (two years) for my Diploma in E&C
and for my B.E ECS Report shows Canadian Equivalency as Bachelor's Degree (Four years).

The Canadian Equivalency summary shows Bachelor's Degree (Four years).

When I enter my education details in my EE profile what option should I select for my diploma?

a. Secondary dimploma (high school graduation) or
b. two- year program at university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute.

Hi Asivad and Other Seniors,

I wanted to ask question about Proof of Relationship of my mother with my uncle who is Canadian Citizen.

As my uncle and mother are from Pakistan and passed there grade 10 high school in Pakistan.

On the grade 10 certificate, Father name and date of birth is written and it is considered as an official proof of father name and date of birth across Pakistan when applying for National identity card and Passport.

Since the birth certificate of both my uncle and my mother are unavailable. Can I submit the grade 10 certificates of both my uncle and mother as proof of relationship (showing same father name) which is also given on passport of my uncle which i am also submitting with my application under Proof of Residence.

Waiting for your urgent feedback as I plan to submit my PR application by tonight and this is the only thing missing in my upload documents section.

Cheers,
Rafzy

Skilled work experience

Your work experience must be:

at least one year (1,560 hours total / 30 hours per week), continuous full-time or an equal amount in part-time,
paid work (volunteer work, unpaid internships do not count),
in the same job,
within the last 10 years, and
at skill type 0, or skill levels A or B of the 2011 National Occupational Classification (NOC).

Full Time

30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)

Part time

15 hours/week for 24 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
OR

30 hours/week for 12 months at more than one job = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)

You must show that you did the duties set out in the lead statement of the occupational description in the NOC, including all the essential duties and most of the main duties listed.

If you cannot show that your work experience meets the description in the NOC, you are not eligible under this program.
How many hours did you work in your full time and part-time jobs?

When you were working one part-time job, you can only count 15 hours per week.
When you were working full-time, you can only count 30 hours per week.

So, technically, in your case, 16 months of part-time(at 15 h/week) and 4 months of full-time work experience (at 30 h/week) <<20 months>> = 1 year of experience (1560 hours).

You have accumulated only 24 months of part-time work experience (which is equivalent to 12 months of full-time) and 12 months of full-time work experience over a period of 3 years. So, you have an equivalent of 24 months of work experience (2 years).

There is also a "continuous" clause and I am not sure if you satisfy that clause. Because you need "at least one year (1,560 hours total / 30 hours per week), continuous full-time or an equal amount in part-time" but you have 8 months part-time and 4 months full time . I am not sure if this counts.

I know its so confusing I don't understand how to calculate it. Part time was 20hrs/wk and full time was 40hrs/wk. It was continous in the sense that same noc same company

In the absence of your mother's passport, that appears to be the most reasonable alternative. But such certificates can be easily falsified as well so I would recommend that you add in a notarized affidavit declaring the authenticity of these documents. You may need to translate any documents that aren't in English.

That part time will be calculated as 66.67% of the time worked (20/30 hours/week) while full time work will count for 30 hours/week even though you worked 10 extra hours. Your aggregate experience would amount to 28 months (12 months of full time and 16 months of full time equivalent part-time work). All of this assumes that you can get reference letters for the same. In addition, you'll have to prove that you have at least 1 year of continuous (without breaks) work experience.
