A thought occurred to me, please critique: If we pay these fees separately, it will act as an application stage/progress notifier to understand when the next stage has begun, will it not?

If we pay both fees together we would be kept waiting for sometime as there won't be any status updates.

If we pay them only when they request for payment would this two part payment strategy slow application processing considerably?
At least 2-3 weeks, if not longer.

Hello Asivad and fellow members,
Hope everything is well. I need your valuable advise again.
I received my PPR today and I will follow your advise to add my spouse on my file
My questions are:

1. Should I submit my passport now and inform CIC after getting my COPR back cause the wedding will be on the 2nd week of December or should I inform the CIC right away without sending my passport?

2. Do I need to get a new medical as my medical is expiring on March next year. Will it take another 3-4 months to process my spouse's application?

Thank you again and I always appreciate your assistance.

You cannot add your 'spouse' to this application until after you are married. There is no point in informing IRCC in advance. Recommend that you send in your passport for now, receive the COPR and stamped passport, get married, inform IRCC after that about changes in family composition, send them spouse documents (medicals, PCC(s), proof of marriage, passport etc) and request that your spouse be added to this application. IRCC will typically process this request in 4-6 weeks and ask you to make additional payment following which they will request for both your passports, invalidate your existing COPR and issue both of you COPRs and passport stamps.

2. Do I need to get a new medical as my medical is expiring on March next year. Will it take another 3-4 months to process my spouse's application?

You'll probably need to undergo medicals again, IRCC will inform you if that is required.

Thank you again and I always appreciate your assistance.

Hello Asivad,

I have been taking your advice since I created my Profile in EE and its been very helpful. I think its time to consult you regarding my current situation.I'm an OINP applicant and received my notes till 10/10 says Eligibility and Criminality passed. Though, I was living in Alberta and needed to submitted settlement plan which I have submitted on July 19th, But I already moved to Ontario on 3rd August so thats not the Issue. I'm completing my 6 months on 26th Nov as my AOR is 26th May. My PgWP is expiring on 7th Jan. I havent applied for my BOWP yet, Should I apply or should I wait for my PPR as I'm approching 6 months next week. Though my medical is still pending, I have submitted last Xray more than 2 months ago but it says still under review. I have to upload the copy of my medicals in my BOWP application, if its not passed whats the chances of getting approval gor my BOWP?

Please help me, Thanks in Advance.

You can apply for BOWP anytime till 7th Jan. Once successfully applied, you automatically move to implied status and can continue working. Recommend that you wait till end Dec before applying for BOWP as that buys you some extra time as well. Hope you get your PPR before then.

All the best!

Question 1:
I have a total of 5 years of foreign work experience out of which the first 9 months are in a company for which I do not have employment records as required by CIC. I have proper documentation for the remaining period from my second company. Can I show the first 9 month period of my work experience under my personal history and not under work experience?

Question 2:
I am not getting any CRS points for my spouse's work history. Can I show his work experience under his personal history and not under his work experience to avoid additional documentation?

Thanks

Hello! Thanks everyone who are posting and advising, this thread was a massive help!
I got my ITA a few days ago and I encountered an issue with filling out my travel history. The problem is that I used to be a flight attendant for 5 years, and I have 3 passports completely packed with stamps and visas. My first passport expired, my second passport I had to replace because it didn't have any more pages (I still have a valid USA tourist visa in it) and the 3rd is my current valid passport. To make it more complicated, I am an expat on a residence visa this whole time. Now, my questions are:

1) Do I have to send a scan of all those pages of all these passports (a consultant advised that you have to scan all passports pages even if they are old)?
2) Do I have to declare trips to my home country of nationality?
3) Do I have to declare all those trips where I received a stamp in my passport while travelling as flight attendant? Most of these trips were one or two days long, some of them don't even have an exit stamp (like USA for example) so it's difficult to remember how long I stayed there.
I am not even sure if all of that would fit :-[ I assume I would have to write an LOE to try to explain this?

Any help is highly appreciated and thanks for reading this!

Follow their instructions. I imagine they ask only for biographical details from your current passport.

2) Do I have to declare trips to my home country of nationality?

Check the instructions under Travel history, I imagine this will be a requirement.

3) Do I have to declare all those trips where I received a stamp in my passport while travelling as flight attendant? Most of these trips were one or two days long, some of them don't even have an exit stamp (like USA for example) so it's difficult to remember how long I stayed there.

Yes. An exhaustive list of all travel made since you turned 18 or the past 10 years (follow the instructions to know which one they ask for nowadays) is a mandatory requirement. If you don't have sufficient space in the form, attach a spreadsheet with this information along with an LOE.

Any help is highly appreciated and thanks for reading this!

Post in the appropriate section of the forum for faster and more accurate response. I imagine you can apply for the supervisa.
