Asivad: If the job contract explicitly mentions your responsibilities and they match closely with the main duties of your chosen NOC, that would suffice. If you have such a job contract for your current job, you can claim points only for that job not for the previous 2 employers.


Siddiquis: Asivad, i am working in the same profession for last more than six years, and i have reference/experience letters for all three employers, I am sending my application to OINP HCPS, My question is i have JoB Contract and Paystubs for my current employer only, i do not have past two contracts and paystubs, Does the only contract letter along with pay stubs from my current employer suffice for OINP HCPS application?

If you have a valid reference/experience letter for all 3 employers (and these letters have all details required by OINP/IRCC), no real need to share job contracts or pay stubs as supporting documents.

Hi Asivad,

I received ITA in Jan. Today, I submitted my Express Entry application. However, when I reached the fee payment step - I could not get in touch with the person whose credit card I was supposed to be using, therefore, I could not pay any fees upfront.

So now what should I do - I can pay the fees now, but how can i? I do not see any option to pay fees now.

Please help!

IRCC promises that they will aim to process 80% of all applications within 6 months from the date of submission. Impossible to predict timelines with any kind of certainty.

As you will indicate this as your current job, your points will automatically be updated when you approach your work anniversary. You won't be required to update anything.

Hi bro,

I received my ita in Jan 2016 and will be sending my application this weekend. I have couple of doubts if you can guide me through.

1. Proof of funds:

My wife had $17000 in her indian account and she transferred it to my Canadian account and got a notarized copy saying its from my wife and it's not a loan and no repayment required.

Also have 3 credit card and total debt is $2200 so if that's been negated with $17000 I will have less as pof, was thinking will only advice cic if two credit cards, is that ok.

Don't disclose any of the credit cards in the bank letter, not relevant to your PR application.

2. Employment letters:

I have overall 3 years experience, 2 years in uk and one in Canada. For the uk employer I have payslips, offer letter, confirmation of employment letter and tax payments made. But donot have the job duties and resp letter. But I have got my senior team leader who currently works there and other colleague to give me a reference letter with job duties. Will this suffice.

Get it notarized.

3. Wes:

I have 2 year pst grad from Canada and 3 year bachelors from india and masters from uk. But got Wes done only for masters will that be ok.

So I have a bachelors that cannot be assessed as it is from an unrecognized university (in fact the university is now shut) and then I have my masters which is now assessed positive.

Will the fact that I can never have my bachelor's assessed, can cause me trouble/rejection at any stage?
What are my points of cautions/don't and does?

Wife 35 (two education credentials)

Ielts - R8, L7, S8, W7.5
Wife ielts - L8, S7, W6.5, R6.5
(I am aware that I/both of us need to rise to CLB 9 or 10, and are trying hard)

I have asked this question in other topic, however it is still worth checking with you , as my permanent job offer is from Canada Inc employer whose registered address in Quebec town and I am applying express entry on Ontario province. However I called CIC agents few times ask if this is (employer location vs intended location) is going be a point for rejection which he said no as well as asked me to write a letter of explanation as in why I prefer Ontario over Quebec.

Would like to ask your opinion and have you ever had or heard cases such as one province Canada inc employer job offer is not accepted because of the employer location vs intended location difference ?

Pls let me know your thoughts.

If you have an ECA report stating that you have Masters equivalency in Canada, you don't need to assess your Bachelors. Non availability of ECA for Bachelors won't have any impact on your application.

I have a big time (company) consultants that I engaged 1.5 yr back initially because I had little knowledge. They say that my case where the bachelor's can't be assessed will result on rejection, and even if I contribute points to my wife's profile, she will also face rejection. Am not sure that if this needs more diging in or they are correct because upon discussion the consultant said that they had a case where this happened. Shall I dig more, put up a query somewhere, or the consultant is just being over causations or stupid?

If the location is in Quebec, won't work with EE. You can try applying along with an LOE but be prepared for a refusal. If you/your employer can prove conclusively that you will be employed outside Quebec, that would help.

Do you have an ECA which states 'Overall Canadian Equivalence' as Masters degree?

If yes, no worries. If no, your lack of Bachelors ECA will be a problem.

I am in dire need of your expert advise.

My AOR is 8th Oct 2015 and last activity on my application was RPRF on 21st Oct 2015 with meds passed.
I am an FSW-Outland candidate.
After that whatsoever no activity happened on my application.

My GCMS notes generated on 25th Jan 2016 had the last Agent Comments as follows:-
"*** AGENT REVIEW *** POLICE CERTIFICATES R10 OK All police certificates on application; following PC's NRT INDIA AND SINGAPORE (PA AND SPOUSE). EDUCATION DOCUMENTS ECA report verified on issuing agency website; foreign credential confirmed on ECA site. ECA Canadian Equivalency Summary reported by issuing agency as MASTERS DEGREE. Credential is consistent with level of education claimed by PA under EE Eligibility. SPOUSE'S EDUCATION ECA report verified on issuing agency website; foreign credential confirmed on ECA site. ECA Canadian Equivalency Summary reported by issuing agency as MASTERS DEGREE. Credential is consistent with level of education claimed by SP under EE Eligibility. AGE Applicant's age reviewed and no change from ITA to e-APR.

Also the due date mentioned on the second page is 20th Dec 2016.
Looking at this, I am a bit worried that the officer will not open the file until that date.

I need to look for options now.
Shall I raise a CSE asking them to check if there has been any typo on the due date?
