My name is Nirmal Franklin, I completed my B-tech computer science from MG University in 2010 and later I joined my father construction business, we are doing government civil contract work and we have licence for it in my father' name. In 2012 I joined for civil Btech in Institution Of Engineers (India) it's a distant education pogram and it has WES approval, while working under my father and I will get my B tech civil certificate in April 2016 .
EDUCATION
1) B tech computer science - MG university 2010
2) Btech civil - IEI (India ) distant education, course is ongoing and will get degree certificate in April 2016. WES approved course
WORK EXPERIENCE
1) project manager( civil construction work) from 2010 to till date
MAIN DUTIES
1) work tendering procedure - ( first cost estimation of the tendering work is made then tendering procedure is done)
2) site supervising - supervising the workers in site
3) bill submitting of finished works

I have few doubts, it will be very helpful if u clarify it
1) In which NOC I have to apply?
NOC 2131- civil engineer
NOC 2231 -civil engineering technologists and technician
NOC 0711- construction manager
NOC 2234- construction estimated
NOC 7205- contractor and supervisor
My work duties include COST ESTIMATION, TENDERING OF WORK, SITE SUPERVISING AND MANAGING . The drawings and BOQ ( data related to work) will be given by govt department engineer
As the first four NOC need civil btech, which I doesn't have during the work experience time and NOC 7205 is comming under trades
2) Will NOC can be changed later?
3) As my work experience from 2010 to 2015 and civil btech(Distant education) from 2012- ongoing . Will my work experience will be taken into account ?

Another question please, is there a difference between "Not Needed at this Time" and "Not Started" because my Background check and Decision has changed to that.

I have few below queries, would appreciate your expert opinion.
1. If I manage to get letter from my bank indicating the date of opening of account, current balance and average balance of past six months BUT the account opening date is also exactly of six months back. Does that ring a bell to VO?
2. My wife is PA and I am the accompanying spouse. We both share same bank account (type: either or survivor i.e. A &/or B) anyone of us can operate this account, its not a joint account where both has to sign cheques etc to withdraw money. Will CIC accept this?
3. MY wife has completed her 02 years post-graduation after MBBS (both ECA done by MCC) but while calculating the CRS points, it only calculates the points of "Master Degree or professional degree needed to practice in a licensed profession" and that is off course MBBS. Can't we get any points for post graduation degree?

No draw on the 30th and am running out of time.I am on 480 and I am really worried. I have an OINP invite. I am thinking I go ahead with that. Cuz I have my permit only till May 2016. Can I apply under OINP Human Capitals, since I meet the CEC category or should I wait for the next draw. The OINP needs to be applied within 45 days and I am past 15 days already. What should I do?

I made a mistake by selecting as NO for questions 4 and 5 under statutory questions in EE though I had a US business visa rejection in 2012. So, I would like to send CSE to correct my mistake and below is the text I would like to send in my LOE. Can you please review and let me know if the below information is sufficient? provide your comments please.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I made a mistake when I was filling my EE online application in Statutory questions while submitting my PR application under EE.
I have misunderstood the question 4 and 5 and I selected as “NO” under statutory questions section. Now, I realized that I made a mistake and I would like to correct these statutory questions 4 and 5. Can you please update these questions as “YES” as my B1 (business visa) has been rejected by US in 2012 and the reason for the rejection was my intended duration of the trip was long (6 weeks). VO thought that the duration of the trip was too long under B1 Visa and he rejected my visa. He also suggested to apply for L1 or H1B visa for that purpose (long trip).
So, my sincere apologies for the mistake/misunderstood which I have done on the statutory questions while filling my EE online application and I will never let it happen again.
Please let know if you need more information.

Keep your application package ready for OINP, it will help you with the post ITA process as well. There is no real reason to get worried with a score of 480. There should be a draw on 6th/13th Nov and you will get an ITA then.TECC_Seneca said:

There is indeed a difference between the two stages. If you click on the question mark next to the status, you will get CIC's take on that. I imagine that it means that the officer has started working on your BG check at some point of time.
