hi asivad,

Can you review below and provide your suggestions.

I made a mistake by selecting as NO for questions 4 and 5 under statutory questions in EE though I had a US business visa rejection in 2012. So, I would like to send CSE to correct my mistake and below is the text I would like to send in my LOE. Can you please review and let me know if the below information is sufficient? provide your comments please.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I made a mistake when I was filling my EE online application in Statutory questions while submitting my PR application under EE.
I have misunderstood the question 4 and 5 and I selected as “NO” under statutory questions section. Now, I realized that I made a mistake and I would like to correct these statutory questions 4 and 5. Can you please update these questions as “YES” as my B1 (business visa) has been rejected by US in 2012 and the reason for the rejection was my intended duration of the trip was long (6 weeks). VO thought that the duration of the trip was too long under B1 Visa and he rejected my visa. He also suggested to apply for L1 or H1B visa for that purpose (long trip).
So, my sincere apologies for the mistake/misunderstood which I have done on the statutory questions while filling my EE online application and I will never let it happen again.
Please let know if you need more information.
Thanks,
Ramesh

I thought I replied to this elsewhere as well. This would suffice - send it out asap.

All the best!

Thank You!

People have received messages in MyCIC (myself included) and on their mail ids but haven't heard of anyone receiving PPR correspondence via snail mail. If true, this is new and weird because it is far too easier to either email it to you or upload to your MyCIC account.

Hi Asivad,

I have paid my Application fees and PR fees at the time of application submission. I just checked that they have send me a receipt after submitting my application. It had below information -

"Please print two copies of this receipt, send one to Citizenship and Immigration Canada and keep one for your records. Please also note that the payer's name on this receipt does not have to be the same as the one on the application form."

I have not send it to CIC at that time. Should I send it now?(I submitted my application on 21st Aug) Or it is not required? Please suggest. Thanks

Hi,

I have two questions for Quebec.

1) How to get work experience letter containing details of job responsibility from my previous employer? I left this organisation 5 years ago.
2) Will form 16 work for Proof of legalty of your work experience?

Keep your application package ready for OINP, it will help you with the post ITA process as well. There is no real reason to get worried with a score of 480. There should be a draw on 6th/13th Nov and you will get an ITA then.
Thanks, I am hoping so too because 1500 is a big amount. But OINP Human Capitals is pretty straight forward but time consuming. Hoping for the best!!

If you need those points for CRS and/or program eligibility, get a notarized declaration from your ex-supervisor/colleague which mentions all employment details including job responsibilities. Submit that along with all other evidence to prove the legitimacy of that employment.

2) Will form 16 work for Proof of legalty of your work experience?

Always mention the country on an online forum when you are using region/country specific jargon. Assuming you are from India where Form 16 is tax assessment records, that will be partial proof of legitimacy of your work experience. CIC doesn't just want to know that you worked where you claimed to work but that you worked in a specific NOC 0/A/B. Tax records won't be sufficient to prove that.

Thanks

Hello Asivad,

I had written to you few months back here I am again to seek your expert opinion .

WES had first stated my WES summary as Bachelor's Degree (4Years)

Now, they have changed to

"CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY
bachelor's degree (four years) and Bachelor's degree (three years)
Revised ECA report (original completed on March XX, XXXX)"
does this mean I can claim the option
1) 2 or more degrees with one being more than 3 years ? (I hope I am right in saying this since the report explicitly states this) :)

Also, during my 2nd bachelor's i.e three years I was working part time ( I am a FSW Outland applicant) so can I claim that work experiece as well ?

Would really appreciate your reply .

Thank you very much

Regards,
nikhil

If that is stated on the top of the 1st page of your ECA report, you can certainly claim '2 or more..' option.

Also, during my 2nd bachelor's i.e three years I was working part time ( I am a FSW Outland applicant) so can I claim that work experiece as well ?

Yes. You can claim that as part time experience.

Would really appreciate your reply .

Thank you very much

Hi Asivad,

I need your help again. Under the "Work History" section, I only mentioned the jobs that I got points for (NOC B). However, I did other part-time jobs that are neither NOC 0, A or B (so I can't get points for these). I did include these activities under "Personal activity" section but not "Work History". Should I include these part-time jobs under "work history" ?

Hi Asivad,
Can you advise who should write or be the signatory of the LOE? For example your spouse has a name change, should the spouse write the LOE or its ok if the principal applicant does the explaining though its under the spouse's upload section?

Doesn't matter but preferably by the PA as it is their application. No signatures required - it can be a regular word doc/pdf created on your computer and directly uploaded where required.
