No not yet, but I'm afraid by the time they react to the CSE, they might have sent PPR. How do u suggest I proceed?
You can get another medicals and send it out via CSE and also mention your apprehension about not having enough time to 'land' in Canada before June '16. The final decision about extending your COPR validity is at the discretion of the officer.

1. I have a question about Level of Education in Personal Activities. In my education section, i filled as "Two or more certificates" for my Canadian PS diploma, and my ECA assessed bachelors (Filled "Two or More Certificates", but after entering ECA details, there is another level of education and i filled as Bachelors). However, personal activities section, there is no secondary level of education field for bachelors. As of now, i filled "Two or more" for both education.

2. In file uploading section, there are three placement holder for upload work documents. I worked three companies and claimed points for all of them. I guess, i need to upload documents for each company in each section right?

3. Where do i upload upfront Schedule A? I dont see placeholder for that. I have visa refusals and i am going to add upfront schedule A. Do i also need to attach LOE for visa refusal along with schedule A?

Thanks for your time.

Hi Asivad,

Thank you as always for your help on this forum.

I am on 463, after giving four attempts on language tests and finally getting all four components on 9 or above.
My PGWP expires in the middle of May. Not eligible for OINP.
I am freaking out looking at the last two draws... Do you think if they keep drawing 1000, it could fall until my score by latest beginning of May?
I know you don't have the answer, but just wanted to get your thoughts.

463 is very competitive even if they do just 2 draws/month with ~1000 ITAs each time.

Also, do you know any way I could extend my WP even for a short period time without PR application submitted?

Can't think of any way of doing that short of getting an employer who files an LMIA application on your behalf. If there were an easier option, international students wouldn't be so disappointed with EE.

Lastly, what documents could I prepare in advance (before ITA) so that I can expedite filing application after ITA?

Look at the generic checklist and start getting those documents that apply in your situation.

Thank you Asivad.

This is fine.

Yes.

Schedule A is not required upfront. If you still want to add that, do it in the LoE section and explain why you are adding that document upfront. You don't have to explain visa refusals.

Thanks for your time.

Thanks so much Asivad!!!

In case I don't get ITA by my visa expiry, do you think it's worth applying for BOWP without AOR/ITA?
I guess this will at least buy me some time because I can keep working as implied status until the decision on BOWP is made?

I saw under the BOWP thread that someone applied for BOWP without AOR or ITA and then applied for PR soon after, and actually BOWP was issued successfully. I think it is all about the timing and luck, but regardless, if I could continue making a living and delay losing my job while waiting on the BOWP decision, I feel like I might try. My worry is that rejection on BOWP would affect my PR application? Do you have any idea on this?

I literally feel like crying because I studied so hard to bump up my scores but now this... people like you certainly help me feel so much better though.
Thank you again and god bless you!!!!

They would need to fill up their details in the designated section.

Can't see any harm (or any benefit) in applying for BOWP without having an ITA but it might be a wasted effort so don't do it right away. Wait till the last possible date before filing that application.

Even if your BOWP is refused which will likely happen if filed too early, that still wouldn't impact your PR application.

Thanks!

Oh yes, if I am to apply for BOWP, I will wait until the very last minute. I just want to maintain my WP status as long as possible, as I can't afford not making any money for too long before I get PR.

Just as final confirmation, regardless having ITA/AOR or not, I would be on implied status once submitting BOWP application and safe to work?

Many many thanks.

Not having filed a BOWP myself, I'm not sure if you could even do that without having an e-APR. I imagine that e-APR would be mandatory to file a BOWP in the first place so you probably wouldn't be able to apply for BOWP without receiving an ITA (and submitting the post ITA application). Once you've filed a BOWP and lost your current status, you go on implied status until the BOWP is refused or confirmed.

Hey, Asivad
Can we get LMIA if we are outside of CANADA? if we never been to CANADA?

THank you
Technically possible. Practically improbable.

You'll need to find an employer willing to do the paperwork for you. And you'll need to be insanely talented or extremely well connected to find such an Canadian employer from outside Canada.

Thanks Asivad for your time and help.

i have a question about Visa refusals. As i wrote before, i have been refused for visa before (US B1B2 visa and Canadian student visa which i got second time). Do i really need to submit the LOE or Schedule A? Attaching LOE or uploading upfront Schedule A have any significance advantage over my application?

You're likely to get a Schedule A request but there is no real necessity to upload it upfront. No LoE required for visa refusals, they are commonplace.

Hi Asivad,

I am a Nov AOR and still expecting PPR. I would like your suggestion regarding applying for a new passport before PPR, because my current passport expires in February 2017. And from what I've read on the forum, PPR e-mail usually mandates that passports must be valid for at least 12 months, although some say it is 6 months. Perhaps it depends on VO/LVO? I am not sure of my VO but I am resident in South Africa, so LVO is probably Pretoria.

Please give your suggestion on the steps I should take, apply for a new passport now before PPR or wait? Thanks in advance...
