Hi all
We, myself, wife and son passed citizenship test on Saturday (yesterday) all scored 20/20. I want to know any idea how long it will take for citizenship.

Depends how many new threads you open daily, (even if you can find a lot of open threads with an answer for your question)
each threads gives you 5 points,

500 points give you a special Canadian passport delivered to you home personally by his Honorable ex Citizenship minister Jason Kenny, and driven by the Current minister his honorable Christ Alexander

You are too funny :D ;D :D ;D

Hi Shankar, congrats on passing your test.
Oath really depends on a lot of things; one of the main being your timeline (when your application was received)
Another would be your centre (for example the mississauga centre is much slower compared to others)

Other than this; we really haven't figured it out yet.
it could be anywhere between 2 weeks to 4 months - usually.

Its a waiting game.

As pointed out by other readers, it depends upon lot of factors, certain offices have lot applicants and it may slightly delay scheduling.

However with new government, CIC might tend to clear lot of backlog pretty quickly and you can expect something in maximum 2 months.

What are techniques for getting 20/20.

Have you study just a book or what you did for test preparation. Please advise

Carefully read the book two or three times and take as many on-line practice tests as you can. That works for nearly everyone.

Hi. Shank...

Good to know test passed keep checking e-cas when change from process to

decision made than wait for another 4-8 weeks.

keesio - thanks. I gone through the book two time and paid attention on all the photo caption and italics. On the date of exam at home in the early morning I practised apna Toronto and Richmond library. I read history chapter only in the morning. While answering I was confident of 17 for sure. 3 didn't know the answer and I picked up and by luck I got 3 correct (all three were true or false).

russ- Like you when I was also surprised when the day was Saturday. But it was mentioned that exam is also conducted on Saturdays and sundays. I did in mississauga
