Temporary visitor visa to Canada

HI all,

I have a question if anyone in this forum has gone through, I am originally from Afghanistan currently living in Canada holding PR and a valid travel document, I am engaged and I would like to travel out of Canada, India, Dubai or Pakistan in order to get married with my fiance.

I have chosen these 3 countries because its easy for him to get a visa but I have been contacting the Embassies for all the above countries and I have been told that they are not issuing visas on a Canadian Travel Document anymore.

Then I referred to my MP and she told me that there is just one more option has left to get married, that your fiance has to apply for an entry visa to Canada.

So my question is, Is anyone has the same experience please share it with me what is required and what are the next steps, and will they approve his application or not?

Did you get any update? We applied online for a visitor visa on 19th September. Still didn't hear back from them.

I have no update till today.

59 day alreay passed. I was applied on 12 Sep
