Tax returns needed for interview...Qorax & seniors pls help

Hi All,

I have been scheduled ed for interview on 20th jan at ND..

they have asked me to submit all my income tax details from the year 2007 till 2010..

but i cud file my returns and get the acknow from IT department for previous 2 years only as per rule..

and also my income is bit higher in the tax docs compared to my annual salary..

the difference is that i am getting additional income as a part time real estate brocker which i have not furnished anywhere bcos i am not spending any extra time for it..

and also i have only 2 years IT docs to show..

will all this be a prob.. how can i convince the interviewer..

2010 income tax return - you can always say that it is to be filed after 31st March 2011.
You can take 2009, 2008 IT Return at the time of interview
You can still file 2007 return with some fine, in case the date of filing comes to the notice of VO you can say to VO that you missed filing in 2007 and it came to your notice just now. Can take 2006 or back returns with you.
IT return showing higher income i.e other than salary is no problem, lower than the salary would have been problem. Computation of chart attached with the return will reflect income from salary, interest, rental income, income from business etc etc.
Not a big issue so go comfortably for interview.
Asking for IT returns with interview means VO suspect your employment/ work experience and is looking for better proof. Otherwise VO could have requested for just IT return by post. Get ready for some questions on your employment.

Cud not file 2007 as they did not accept it..

I am having the returns acknowledge sealed by the IT Dept..
Will that be enough..

What answer can I give for my higher income.

IT return acknowledgement along with computation chart will be required.
Higher income details would be in computation chart itself. You can tell that you did some side business to earn xtra money.
