Hi all

while filling the form RC66SCH for declaring income for child tax benefit, i have to fill the income for up to 2 years before coming to canada. do these amount need to be gross income, adjusted gross income, net income(in hand) or taxable income from my Tax returns?? I have moved from US to Canada and am referring to different amounts shown on my US tax returns.

the reason i am asking is because all of these are different amounts and the benefits (as per the cctb tax calculator) would differ in each case. Also what kind of proof s does CRA require for supporting this?
As per them they havent asked any proofs while sumbitting this form but what kind of proofs do they required down the line?

Please let me know if any of the forum members were in a similar situaition

They need your Gross income. No proof of the same is required to be send. Just your honest declaration...thats it.

doesnt make much sense if they r asking for gross because cctb caculator asks for net canadian income in order to calculate how much benefit u will get.. right?
